So much fun! Incredible trip through 1940s-60s science fiction from pulp magazines. Loved every story and I never say that. Great way to relive the history of sci fi

Overall these stories are uneven with only a few really great standouts and several real clunkers For diehards only- you’ll enjoy the good ones and forgive the bad

Hilarious Southern-Fried Summer 1977

Unabashed, exciting, profane, and ultimately a truly hilarious wild ride through 1970s car culture action comedies. Jon Hamm brings all of his acting chops that impressed fans of 1950s-60s nostalgia on Mad Men and deftly translates it from Manhattan to the I-95 corridor, outperforming my memories of Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood in their own trucker and simian comedies. Mike Sacks weaves a seat of your pants story at the same time creating so many southern-fried twists of language that will have you laughing and repeating the few which are repeatable in polite company. I can’t recommend this enough to those of us who remember 1977 all too well.

In the first hour of the book the author contradicts himself several times, makes broad, sweeping false statements, and for some reason attacks academia, including the medical profession. Time is just wasted in this book as he repeats himself and rambles between topics. The author confuses selling with persuading. It's a major error, yet throughout the early part of the book he doubles down on his misunderstanding time and again. I keep waiting for the author to get to the meat of the issues, but he actually never gets there. He rambles and rambles and when you think he's going to come to a point he just shifts gears and heads another way. There is literally no useful information that I've been able to identify in this book.

Book is a basic reading of an outline of ITIL - I was hoping for exam prep and got a basic outline instead - it's not significantly better than reading a very long website on ITIL
