Historia
To Dr. Candace Pert, "feeling good" and "feeling God" are one in the same. It may be surprising to hear a world-renowned biologist talking about God, yet Candace Pert is on the vanguard of a new breed of scientists who fearlessly explore the territory where science and spirit meet.

Don't be fooled by the title
Revisado: 03-10-14
What disappointed you about To Feel G(o)od?
This title and summary are misleading. This turned out to be a scientific lecture about receptors in the body (opiate was the primary focus). God was mentioned in passing in the last 5 minutes but based upon the title I expected the entire lecture to be about feeling "bliss" as was the start of the topic and how the body function/chemicals related to a relationship to the divine.
What could Candace Pert have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Change the title so that it was apparent that this was a scientific lecture and did not relate to the "feelings" related to metaphysics or the divine.
Any additional comments?
If you are looking for the "mind-body" connection as I was, look for other authors.

Dry and unengaging
Revisado: 09-28-13
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
a better narration. The reader was easy to read but sounded like he was reading a text book
What do you think your next listen will be?
Linchpin by Seth Godin
What didn’t you like about Walter Dixon’s performance?
Dry and boring

What a Crock!
Revisado: 04-16-10
This is the worst $2.50 I have ever spent. This "paid" infomercial presents VERY little usable information. James appears to be a Tony Robbins wannabe. He readily admits that the title of "Americas Hottest Young Speaker" was made up by him after hearing that is how Mohammad Ali gained his fame. This recording is about telling you that you can't be successful if you go it alone - you need to pay him to show you the ropes. Don't waste your money - go to Starbucks instead.
