Liked the story overall but left some characters undeveloped. Unfortunately, the narration often didn't match the tone of print. Higher pitched voice when the MC was supposedly annoyed and grumbling in the a.m....situations like such were frustrating and I had to really push past it to continue listening. I expected slightly more detailed moments during sensuous entanglements, but there was neentanglement, Almost as if the author or editor censored the content.

Friends to Lovers, modern age realistic story. The steam was much...much longer than I expected. Prefer steam throughout but overall I liked how the women had different and realistic insecurities. Stud and Femme cuteness.

It's worth it!

Don't judge the book by its cover. This is a fantastic listen with excellent narration. This is the 1st Britney Jackson novel I've come across and it was delectable, hilarious, romantically spicy, and has pirate action. Yes, sword fighting, cannons, prisoner trauma, betrayal, and so much more. Give it a read or listen, you won't be disappointed. Patiently waiting for the audio sequel in May!!

Comedic rivalry galore

Rivals to Lovers with plenty of relatable comedy! J.J. Arias did a great job capturing the backstory and relevance flawlessly with several nods to real Latin culture. Narrated wonderfully. Definitely a SLOW...SLOW burn but with such a wonderful story being told, I didn't miss the immediate spice I was expecting. I recc the book and look forward to reading/listening to more novels from this Arias. We'll done.

Slow...slow burn, but well written and narrated. Cute story with plenty of build uo and anticipation. Was hoping for more HEA spice but still a good listen. Very believable and realistic story.

Forbidden Girl - Great listen.

First book for me with this author. I am an INSTANT fan of Kristen Zimmer after this listen. If you appreciate modern humor, underground warring clans with a nod to Shakespeare, and mature themes all throughout to keep you satisfactorily wanting more...this is for you. Great narration. I look forward to reading more of Zimmerman's work. Hopeful K. Z.'s well matured themes are continued.

LGBTQ+ science fiction

This is the 3rd installment of the Hearts of Heroes series I've listened to. Excited for book 4 on audio. Great storyline and well developed characters. I like how the series build upon each other and connect/bring in characters from the former. Good narration but was difficult to differentiate the hero characters as they all melded by sounding the same. Overall, great listen. Molly Bragg, thank you. Thank you for creating books that LGBTQ+ individuals can relate to. You are so talented and I am looking forward to reading/listening to your other books.

Characters well developed and the steam in this trilogy....absolutely delicious😈. Definitely a must read and/or listen. Lastly, some characters in this trilogy intertwine with the Kingdom of Immortal Lovers trilogy. Nice touch Ruby!

Exquisite, bittersweet and STEAMY

Saying this is a must read doesn't do it justice. This is an absolutely fantastic story. Well developed characters and enough steam throughout to keep you satiated. I am eager, and trying really hard to be patient, for book 2 on Audible. Both narrators performed so well. Ruby Roe...WELL DONE!! This is my 1st Roe novel. I am an instant fan. Love the twists and turns and depth of characters.

Lesbian super heroes...yes!

The main characters were developed well but I felt the story was too short. I wanted more character development between the families. The narrator's voice is silky, smooth and just a touch of sexy rasp. However, unfortunately it was difficult to delineate between characters. I have been enjoying the super heroine books. Overall, good listen amd I recommend.
