Historia
Deep below the University, there is a dark place. Few people know of it: a broken web of ancient passageways and abandoned rooms. A young woman lives there, tucked among the sprawling tunnels of the Underthing, snug in the heart of this forgotten place. Her name is Auri, and she is full of mysteries. The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a brief, bittersweet glimpse of Auri’s life, a small adventure all her own. At once joyous and haunting, this story offers a chance to see the world through Auri’s eyes.

Delightfully different, and endearing to boot....

This review is from: The Slow Regard of Silent Things: Kingkiller Chronicle, Book 2.5 (Audible Audio Edition)
This, is the most wonderful story, thats almost not a story. Its sweet and bitter in all a jumble.
This book is the dearest little sister of The King Killer Chronicles, it follows the near week in the life of Auri as she scampers through the underthing and all about. It tells of the shape of the world, and it leaves you wanting to simply start over reading it through again.
In fair warning though, dont dig into this book expecting to find Kvothe here. All you will find are echos, and hints. You will find the drama of inanimate or mostly inanimate objects and the demands they can place on your life. And you will find Auri, who you cannot help but love. Trust me in the end though, you wont be disapointed.

A Standout Above and Beyond.
Revisado: 10-23-12
What did you love best about METAtropolis?
I really loved that they managed to do something different in a time when everything has already been done. As far as anthologies go this one has the most cohesive feeling and make the most united point. It has a valid message that it transmits in a powerful, convincing and even beautiful way.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Tygr Tyger, I think. Hes the sort of person we tend to look for in real life only because we know they dont exist. If we ever found some one like Tygr Tygr in real life I dont think anyone would trust him.
Which scene was your favorite?
I loved the Completion of Space Ship Detroit. Why I loved this particular scene can really only be explained by personal preference in style.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes it was, And in fact I did. And then I listened to it again. This is one of my very few repeat listens.
Any additional comments?
Just give it a try. It may not be your usual thing. But branch out and give it a shot. you may not like the first story or even the second. But one of these will get to you.

Historia
Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity, Third Edition traces Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity from their roots in early Christian churches to the way these religions are observed today. Recounted here is the historical passage of the Catholic and Orthodox faiths, from the original teachings of Jesus Christ to the early separation of the Eastern and Western Churches to recent attempts at reconciliation.

Not Objectively Written. Its very Biased
Revisado: 01-05-12
What would have made Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity better?
The content. I was looking for an honest comparison, not a blame session.
What do you think your next listen will be?
On this subject, Nothing until more material is added. I find it very odd that the Second largest Christian denomination has in essence no material on Audible even though a good number of books have been made in Audio Book form.
Any additional comments?
If your looking for an Honest comparison of the two religions. Look elsewhere.
