This book found me. I saw it and impulse bought. Best purchase I could have made of 2022.
Not only has Viola changed the trajectory of thousands of dark skinned women through changing perception of us in media and showing a path for us, but her courage to share her experience of abuse, racism and self hatred in this book so selflessly gives way to so much healing for so many women who need it.
