This podcast just hits all the right spots. Wonderful voice, unpretentious narration like you were listening to a friend tell you a story. Great characters and a real world feel, but actually creepy as heck. I hope it continues, and it would make a stellar tv show!!!

It captured me until it was porn

This went downhill as it became mostly perverse. I wanted more story and less lengthy pornographic descriptions of sex with the devil, child molestation, and latent homosexual fantasies. Really could have been 4-5 stars if that was kept to a tactful mention as it pertained to character development.

For a murder mystery the narration doesn’t feel quite right. The tone is something like she’s speaking in front of Congress or reading some something sarcastic out loud.

This is basically a misogynistic objectifying fat shaming weight loss lecture, with several examples telling the way to motivate yourself to lose weight is to picture yourself “skinny and sexy.” At one point you are to imagine walking on the beach with all the men ogling you and wanting you, and your husband who was previously upset with your weight, you are to envision yourself skinny and your husband embracing you and loving you again.
Disgusting and disturbing piece of garbage. Audible should remove it.

The second story, which doesn’t sound like the writing of David Sedaris and is narrated by a woman, came to a part that nearly made my husband and I vomit. I like dark humor but it was too far, with a baby drowning in a washing machine and then the body going through a beating in the dryer.
