Historia
Graphic designer Sonya MacTavish is stunned to learn that her late father had a twin he never knew about—and that her newly discovered uncle, Collin Poole, has left her almost everything he owned, including a majestic Victorian house on the Maine coast, which the will stipulates she must live in for at least three years. Her engagement recently broken, she sets off to find out why the boys were separated at birth—and why it was all kept secret until a genealogy website brought it to light.

WOW! Wasn't expecting to love this!
Revisado: 10-03-24
First thing, I am so upset that I have to wait 6 weeks until the 2nd book comes out! UGH!! This book was SO good, I listened to it in 2 days! Now I'm sad its over! This book is suspenseful, creepy, cute, funny, full of adventure, and sometimes scary, if listening at night, in the dark! LOL
Nora Robert's, you have outdone yourself! Keep it up!!

Historia
Cassie was discharged from the military after being seriously injured when the Humvee in which she was riding was destroyed by an improvised explosive device (IED). Although she was able to walk on her new leg, multiple surgeries left Cassie using an electric wheelchair for mobility while her other leg healed. She was at the airport waiting for her friend and she and her service dog, Petra, sat in one of the airport restaurants watching the people go by. A fellow traveler, Andy Rittenhouse, sat down with her, and the two began chatting.

Best narrator, story too short
Revisado: 02-29-24
Book one and two should have been combined into one book. Great story line, characters and premise. Story was just too short, felt like it had allot of stuff left out that should've been included. Overall, loved Christopher Lane and book, just not worth $10 each book.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Why isn't this a movie??!!
Revisado: 01-22-24
OMG! This book was amazing! I kept thinking about which actor would be the best one to play each character in the book! I do wish that there was a little more detail put into the end the story. But all in all, it is worth the time and money spent! Also, Ray Porter is one of the best narrators on Audiobooks! If you like Sci-Fi books, or books by Dean Koontz or Stephen King, you will really enjoy this book!! I wish they'd make a Netflix or Prime mini season out of it!!

Historia
In the wake of the cataclysmic events that reshaped our world in 2020, a sense of relief washed over us all. By late 2023, I think we were ready to just live life again. I know I was. It was a time to make new friends and put the past to rest. Rayne and I hadn’t known each other long, but we were building a solid friendship, nothing more. It was our common interests that sent us on vacation together to my remote cabin. What we didn’t, couldn’t know, was that we were on a collision course with the end of the world as we knew it.

Narrator made the story 5 stars
Revisado: 10-12-23
Christopher Lane is my all time favorite narrator! His ability to give each character their own identity! His voice and dialect differences, gives you a mental image and perspective of the characters physical appearance!
The story, especially so soon after COVID, makes this book a little eerie! It's that "what if" and the "could this really happen one day" had me thinking about what and how I would react if this occurs! The story had me on the edge of my seat throughout! I kept looking to see how many chapters were left!
The only negative thing I have to say about this book is that it ended! Well, and it ended without book #2 to listen to next! Haha!
Definitely worth the money/credit to listen to and you will not be disappointed!!
Can't wait for the next book in the series Sean!! Hint hint!!

Disappointed that I spent $10 on a sequel that wasnt necessary to the series! The important details could've totally been added to the next book and all the BS "fluff" left out!

Jimmy Tock comes into the world on the very night his grandfather leaves it. As a violent storm rages outside the hospital, Rudy Tock spends long hours walking the corridors between the expectant fathers' waiting room and his dying father's bedside. It's a strange vigil made all the stranger when, at the very height of the storm's fury, Josef Tock suddenly sits up in bed and speaks coherently for the frist and last time since his stroke. What he says before he dies is that there will be five dark days in the life of his grandson.

Don't pay attention to other reviews
Revisado: 04-23-23
Reading several reviews,I was skeptical! I love DK and have forever. One reviewer said this book was long winded and although I agree, its only a couple times! I giggled, I worried about the characters, I fely angered at the protagonists! Everything you want and need in a good novel! Don't pay attention to other reviews. If you know DK and his style of writing, you should really enjoy it! Trust me- this is another DK great! You won't be disappointed! Read it! And prepare to be amazed!

Historia
The year 1996 was the one that changed everything for Maggie Dawes. Sent away at 16 to live with an aunt she barely knew in Ocracoke, a remote village on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, she could think only of the friends and family she left behind...until she met Bryce Trickett, one of the few teenagers on the island. Handsome, genuine, and newly admitted to West Point, Bryce showed her how much there was to love about the wind-swept beach town - and introduced her to photography, a passion that would define the rest of her life. By 2019, Maggie is a renowned travel photographer.
