Irritating Narrator
Revisado: 09-19-24
The narrator ended every sentence like she was out of breath or too excited. it was really quite hard to listen to, I had to stop and take breaks from it and listen to other books.

The way the story evokes absolute rage at all the rotten people who stepped on her her entire life!
Revisado: 01-03-24
The only "dislike" I could come up with is that the story felt like it ended rather abruptly

Revisado: 08-10-23
I absolutely loved this book, the author/narrator is an excellent story teller. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Although being a very serious matter he was able to throw in some absolutely hilarious moments to break up the awfulness of the story. Would love to read more or better yet, would love this to be turned into a movie 🎬

9-year-old Jessica Marie Lunsford was an especially shy and polite young girl that lived with her grandparents and her single dad in Homosassa, Florida. On a morning in late February of 2005, Jessica’s father opened his daughter’s bedroom door and found that Jessica was missing. Deeply moving and educational
Revisado: 04-21-22
This book, wow. What an incredible journey this was to read. I cried the whole way through, not all sad tears, some tears of joy, some of relief.. I am so thankful to Kate for having the strength and courage to be so honest about her journey with Cooper and family. As a grandmother of a child on the non-verbal spectrum I really needed this book. Thank You Kate. I highly recommend that EVERYONE read this book, not just those with loved ones on the spectrum but also those who have no clue what Autism even is. This book is so well written, it's easy to follow, it keeps you interested and wanting to learn more. Moreover, it motivates you to root for the "unspoken ones" . 10+☆
