Need more story

I think this has great potential which will hopefully come to fruition in the following books. I find the skills and inventory updates annoying. Maybe it makes more sense in printed format, but in audio I lose the details and context. Is 20 mana a lot or not? No easy flip back way to put it in context as you'd likely do with a book. The story is light, I want more substance. Hopefully all this inventory and skills will be property applied in the following books with more flesh for the story.

It kept me up long after my sleep time and had me reach for my earphones whenever I woke up, be that close to getting up time or in the middle of the night. Can't wait to get more of this!
