Great Story, Okay Narration
Revisado: 07-22-23
The storyline is great, continues well with the ongoing plot theme. However, the new narrator left a lot to be desired, especially with the bale voices. It hurt the storyline and didn’t sound authentic. Most of the male voices were not fully distinguishable.

Historia
Baker and pastry chef Melody Johansson has always believed in finding the positive in every situation, but seven years after she moved to Denver, she can’t deny that she’s stuck in a rut. One relationship after another has ended in disaster, and her classical French training is being wasted on her night job in a mediocre chain bakery. Then the charming and handsome private pilot Justin Keller lands on the doorstep of her workplace in a snowstorm, and Melody feels like it’s a sign that her luck is finally turning around.

Real and Emotional
Revisado: 04-04-23
I like Carla Laureano’s touch to Christian fiction. It’s not over the top, but slowly permeates her book. She is also authentic in showing how messy life is. Although it’s a romance, she doesn’t promise an easy happily ever after. She shows life and love take work and brings two broken people together for it.

Historia
In these classic essays, which began as talks on the BBC during World War II, Lewis creatively and simply explains the basic tenets of Christianity. Taken from the core section of Mere Christianity, this book provides an accessible way for people to discover these timeless truths. For those looking to remind themselves of what they hold true, or those looking for a snapshot of Christianity, this book is a wonderful introduction to the faith.

Strong & Intellectual Read in A Short Period
Revisado: 04-01-23
CS Lewis’s description goes into what Christianity is and is not by delving into other beliefs. He does not sugarcoat. It’s a deep, quick intellectual look to the understanding of what CS Lewis believed Christianity to be.

Honestly, too much sex and almost no storyline
Revisado: 04-22-22
I am not a fan of huge sex scenes, but I got over those with the first 2 books because of the plot. The second had more than I would usually want but I liked the plot again. However, this one seems to have not much else...the plot is completely overshadowed and it goes into way too much detail. It's honestly a bit creepy how far it goes with these books and doesn't feel real.
I do not recommend.

Great Story But no Wrapped Up Well

I really enjoyed the story in all the books up to this point but the ending is rather abrupt with no real closure.

Historia
Wizard Lily Singer is kept busy managing library archives, studying magic, and trying to keep her witch friend Sebastian from dragging her into trouble. Unfortunately, he loves adventure even more than she loves being left alone. She doesn't want to investigate a malignant spell in a haunted house, but Sebastian is promising rare books as the reward. She also doesn't want to hurt her family but is tired of being lied to about her past. And she definitely doesn't want to get stuck in a dangerously unstable time loop, but Sebastian is in trouble - again....

Great Audio of Great Book

This was my second time “reading” this book. I loved Amy McFadden’s narration. It really brought Lydia’s book to life and also helped give more insight into the characters and story. Loved this!
