Historia
The Blind Spot exists in defiance of Scala City’s dystopian big brother regime. It occupies a small sector in the city, and those who live there believe in the right to privacy. Scala City believe if you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to hide. But the Blind Spot have hackers that could bring the larger city to its knees. This is why it’s never spilled over into all-out war. Until now...

Mediocre Book, awful narration
Revisado: 03-09-23
The book has some good material in it, but needs a sound thrashing by an editor and then a bit of re-writing. It’s salvageable.
The narration is not good. It was probably hard to try and breathe life into the story, but come on! It was lackluster and made the story worse, not better.
I got through about 6 hours and couldn’t keep going.

Historia
For over a century, humans, dwarves, gnomes, and elves have lived together in relative peace. But times have changed, the uneasy peace is over, and now the races are fighting once again. The only good elf, it seems, is a dead elf. Geralt of Rivia, the cunning assassin known as The Witcher, has been waiting for the birth of a prophesied child. This child has the power to change the world - for good, or for evil.

Uninspired
Revisado: 06-01-18
I love the wither games and was fully prepared to love this book.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Overall, it is effectively backstory for the game, which is fine as far as that goes, but it doesn't really go anywhere on its own. It gives you information in a format that is better than reading a history book, which is nice, but I can't see spending money on another one, which is a real pity.
The narrator is quite good. The voices and inflections serve to bring the characters to life.

Enjoyable but Simplistic
Revisado: 04-14-09
Ink Exchange was well written and the narration was quite good. However, while the book constantly refers to the characters dark nature, there's very little real depth to back up those natures. There's more teen angst than an episode of Angel and you never really feel connected to the characters.
That being said, it was well written and was enjoyable to listen to, if fluffy.
