Historia
In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Both infuriating and inspiring !!!
Revisado: 12-03-23
I applaud Britney for telling her story and letting the world know the truth. Bravo to her courage & resiliency, and to her dedication to her boys and her faith. And to Justin Timberlake, Kevin Federline, Britney’s family, especially her dad, let’s hope you receive a heaping dose of karma.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Bravo!

After having so many other people speak for and about him, Prince Harry so eloquently shared his truth. I commend his honesty and bravery. What an exceptional man, soldier, humanitarian, husband and father. Diana’s captivating uniqueness certainly lives on in her son.

Historia
Imagine how different your life would be if you could tell whether someone was lying or telling you the truth. Be it hiring a new employee, investing in a financial interest, speaking with your child about drugs, confronting your significant other about suspected infidelity, or even dating someone new, having the ability to unmask a lie can have far-reaching and even life-altering consequences. As former CIA officers, Philip Houston, Michael Floyd, and Susan Carnicero are among the world’s best at recognizing deceptive behavior.

Enlightening
Revisado: 12-14-22
This book shares fascinating techniques (with examples) to spot a lie. As a thriller writer, I’m always looking for ways improve my dialogue and description. Becoming more attuned to how people behave, both physically and verbally, when they are being deceptive is a very useful tool.

Historia
The entire MacLeod clan is haunted by secrets, and young Bud MacLeod doesn't realize he carries the biggest secret of all. Growing up poor in Depression-era South Georgia is hard enough, but Bud is also cursed with a stutter and a birthmark that disfigures his face. His hateful father and amoral mother make life worse still, despite his brother's efforts to shield him. To survive, Bud must discover his strengths and confront the sins of his parents. First, though, he'll need to grasp his own truth: that he can't embrace his future until he comes to terms with his past.
