Hen and her husband, Lloyd, have settled into a quiet life in a new house outside of Boston, Massachusetts. The story kept my interest. It wasn't predictable which a lot of mysteries seem to be these days. I was happy with my purchase and silk watch for more from this author.

What made the experience of listening to Declutter Your Mind the most enjoyable?
I have been a fan of S. J. Scott's other books and I am now a fan of Barrie Davenport too. I loved Declutter Your Mind! It offers a guide to determine your life priorities to make your day-to-day more fulfilling. I would recommend Declutter Your Mind for anyone who wants to focus on being more present in his/her life. I enjoyed the sample meditation habits which focus on beginners. After reading this book I was more self-reflective and I felt clarity about the direction my life is going and my personal core values. Thanks to this book, I am more conscious about not comparing myself to others and I feel empowered to keep life simplified. The "eliminate negative thinking" part of the title is completely accurate. It is not selfish to focus on yourself, so don't feel guilty about it. Declutter Your Mind helped me learn how to invest in myself. I intend to revisit this book over and over again. I found it easy to apply the examples to my own life. I was given a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for a review.

Empowering, truthful, motivating!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Wake Up Successful?
Some examples of activities you can do to become more successful where spot on. I felt like the author was speaking directly to me. I would tend to hit the snooze button each morning, but only because I was comfortable, lazy, or not motivated to get moving. After reading this book I am excited to plan my mornings more efficiently so I can accomplish goals and feel better about how I spend my day. Simple things can make a difference.
Which scene was your favorite?
I felt like I could relate to the author. There were tasks mentioned that we all do everyday, that we HAVE to do everyday - those tasks are not overlooked. The author knows we still have to do our day-to-day things (like feeding pets, driving kids, etc). but he offers examples on how to accomplish the everyday tasks as well improve your personal growth.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
YES! I was able to listen in one sitting because of the length, but I found myself taking notes and rewinding to make sure I got the information jotted down. I will listen to again after I've tried some author suggestions.
