Plot twist!
Revisado: 12-04-18
I did not expect the plot twist that happened because once it did... it twisted again! This was a great listen.

Historia
At home, Richard Kuklinski was a dedicated suburban family man; on the street, he was the Iceman, a professional hit man and lethal scam artist, a man so heartless he kept one of his victims frozen for over two years to disguise the time of death. His personal body count was over 100, but the police couldn’t touch him. Then undercover agent Dominick Polifrone posed as a mobster and began a deadly game of cat and mouse. The Iceman chronicles Kuklinski’s grisly career and exposes his murderous double life.

Historia
For the first time, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor speaks directly to his fans and shares his worldview about life as a sinner. And Taylor knows how to sin. As a small-town hero in the early '90s, he threw himself into a fierce-drinking, drug-abusing, hard-loving, live-for-the-moment life. Soon Taylor's music exploded, and he found himself rich, wanted, and on the road. His new and ever-more-extreme lifestyle had an unexpected effect, however; for the first time, he began to actively think about what it meant to sin.

Laughed Out Loud (over & over again)

A book I could listen to over and over
Revisado: 06-04-13
Personally, I love any book that makes me feel like I am just listening to a friend rant away about life and thoughts. I can agree or disagree, however when listening to a book I tend to agree/disagree in my head and not physically out loud, because I'm sure that would make me look a bit odd in public. I'd recommend this book to others.

Historia
For fans of Tina Fey and David Sedaris - Internet star Jenny Lawson, aka The Bloggess, makes her literary debut. Jenny Lawson realized that the most mortifying moments of our lives - the ones we'd like to pretend never happened - are in fact the ones that define us. In Let's Pretend This Never Happened, Lawson takes readers on a hilarious journey recalling her bizarre upbringing in rural Texas, her devastatingly awkward high school years, and her relationship with her long-suffering husband, Victor.

"Defined not by life's imperfect moments"
Revisado: 10-01-12
Once I began listening to this book, I found myself not wanting to take off my headphones. What would she say next? Oh boy, did I find out quickly what she would say next and I loved it!
Quite honestly, this book is real. Random thoughts that run through everyone’s mind at the most random (read awkward) of times. Those moments where you sit and think, wow that was strange, can surely sum up this book.
I enjoyed the narration. As a narrator I felt the fluctuation in her voice worked perfectly with the story line.
I always feel when I don't have the words for a situation, there will indeed be a quote out there by someone else who has felt similar at one time or another which I can relate to. This book is very quotable. Which for me means it is relatable.
I felt the impelled to share with others that they must listen to this book. Simply by saying random lines from the book, I have influenced others to listen to it. The effect of them listening to it -- resulted in them loving it. One by one other Jenny Lawson fans have been born.
Perhaps this review will influence others to enjoy it as well, even "vampire cougars."
