Historia
The College Conversation is a comprehensive resource for mapping the path through the college application process that provides practical advice and reassurance to keep both anxious parents and confused children sane and grounded. Rather than adding to the existing canon of "How to Get In" college guides or rankings, Eric Furda and Jacques Steinberg provide a step-by-step approach to having the tough conversations on this topic with less stress and more success.

For average students not valedictorians.
Revisado: 02-05-25
Good for people who are completely new to the college scene. Waste of time for people who went to college. My wife and I both have graduate degrees and understood the simple information.
The information was also only relevant for average students. My son is a valedictorian and national merit scholar. I found almost no helpful information in this book. It was a waste of time.

Please be careful. Please be happy. And please forget all about me. It’ll be better for everyone that way. Those were the last words Keefe Sencen wrote to Sophie Foster before he ran away to the Forbidden Cities. He didn’t want to leave, but it was the only way to keep his friends safe while he figured out how to control his scary new powers and searched for answers about his past. What he found was so much more than adventures in Humanland.

Push’s a liberal agenda in a story for kids!
Revisado: 12-04-24
I was very disappointed! Shannon Messenger had gone the entire series without pushing an agenda. Then in this book she includes two homosexual couples and has the main characters dialogue about it. During the dialogue homosexuality is tied to a major plot line.
I purchased three prerecorded copies of this book. One for my daughter and the others for her friends. I will never let my daughter read Shannon Messenger again without me first having read the book.
The voice narration was good but it wasn’t the same. I knew the narrator changed before I started listening. I really missed the original voice.

Great Story Rough Start!
Revisado: 05-07-19
I had to start this book three times before I could finish the book. I am not a novice fantasy reader, but I struggled with species and world power. In addition, the book was started with quotes and references that were from a different time frame but the reader really does not under stand how time works in this world yet. Robert Jordan did a terrible job easing the reader into his new world.
The story its self held my attention once I knew enough about the world. The main characters were interesting and developed well as the story went on. By the time the story was over I was asking for more. I wanted more answers. I cared about the fate of this world and these characters.
If you have the drive to get through the first few chapters you will enjoy the book. I would have a hard time recommending to casual fantasy readers.

Historia
The Sacred Enneagram is a trustworthy, richly insightful guide to finding yourself in the enneagram's 9-type profiles, and applying this practical wisdom for a life transformed. Far more than a personality test, author Chris Heuertz writes, the enneagram is a sacred map to the soul. Lies about who we think we are keep us trapped in loops of self-defeat. But the enneagram offers a bright path to cutting through the internal clutter and finding our way back to God and to our true identity as God created us.

This book is tough to understand because it explains a visual concept without any diagrams or pictures. I am still unsure about many of the thoughts and ideas because I don't fully grasp what they are. Also, I have some reservations about the ”Sacredness" of the Enneagram. This was the first book I have ever read the book topic I recommend starting with a different book if this is your first time learning about the Enneagram. However, if you are already familiar with the topic, this is probably an excellent book for you.

Historians have long told the story of America’s birth as the triumph of Jefferson’s democratic ideals over the aristocratic intentions of Hamilton. Chernow presents an entirely different man, whose legendary ambitions were motivated not merely by self-interest but by passionate patriotism and a stubborn will to build the foundations of American prosperity and power.

If you are like me and cannot afford to see Hamilton on Broadway, and you already know all of the words to the cast album you have to read this book.
That said I recommend this book to anyone whom loves to read. It is on par with historys from the Great Courses which I consider the very best history lessons every.
Alaxander Hamilton was an amazing States men.

As best-selling author Charles Wheelan shows us in Naked Statistics, the right data and a few well-chosen statistical tools can help us answer these questions and more.
