I wanted to listen to this however this book has since been updated. Originally published in 2014, the updated edition was released in 2018. The Table of Contents shows that this is not the updated version. Will purchase when updated version is made available!

It is from this account that we get the legend that Nero “fiddled as Rome burned.” When the heirless emperor ended his own life, it marked he fall of the Julio-Claudian empire and led to rejoicing in the streets.

I am not familiar with half of her vocabulary

I have to pause the story to look up the word I believe she is saying “Cognimon” I have no idea what this word is and have never studied Greek. If this happens to be slang and not of Greek Origin I will change the performance to a 1 Star Review.
