I have always loved this series so much and I feel the narrators did a fantastic job. I can’t wait to listen to the next one!

I read this series and decided to try it on audiobook. It absolutely amazes me that the story can be even better when you have the right narrators.

Both of them did a tremendous job and I love the story of Link and Lily so much. It’s a sweet story, taking on some difficult themes, and I love their “happily ever after” together.

First and foremost, this author somehow chooses the most perfect narrators for her characters. 🔥🔥 Connor Crais & CJ Bloom blew me away as Nyx and Guila, and I've read this book close to a dozen times! Easily a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ listen!!

"𝑆ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛’𝑡 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡 ℎ𝑒𝑟. 𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘 𝑖𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛’𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑚𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒." -𝑁𝑦𝑥

This is the first book in probably my favorite MC series of all time, The Dark & Dirty Sinners’ MC. It tells the story of Nyx, an Enforcer of the Sinners’ motorcycle club, and Guila, the feisty, estranged daughter of a club member. Upon her mother’s death, a woman who many of the club boys revered before she vanished, Guila flees Salt Lake City with her brothers, North and Hawk, to return to the Sinners’ compound thousands of miles away.

Nyx is a formidable, complicated man who paid his dues and made his way into the hierarchy of the Sinners’. Upon his shoulders, Nyx carries a heavy past and has dedicated his life to vengeance for those he loves.

Cocksure, salacious, and dominant, Nyx isn’t a nice guy. So, when the trio show up late one night looking for sanctuary in their old life, Guila’s only hope is for her two brothers to make a place for themselves while she has other plans of her own.

Guila is a strong & compelling character. Attractive, intelligent, and spirited, as a young girl she grew up around the lifestyle, so the MC’s daily vulgarity and depravity doesn’t discourage this strong and independent woman from handling her designated duties.

She has dreams of a different kind of life in the future (while trying to dance around her intense attraction to Nyx), and when the Enforcer hears of this, he does what he can to change her mind. To make her feel at home, with him, and the club.

"𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑠, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑘𝑛𝑒𝑤 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑘𝑛𝑒𝑤 𝑡ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑝𝑖𝑑." -𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑘

Throughout this book, you will meet other members of the Sinners, even hearing from a few of them. Keep in mind, this takes place in the dark & dirty motorcycle club world, so watch your content warnings.

I highly recommend this book anybody who is looking for a ride on the wild side & a new series to fall in love with.

I’ve read this book in the past and absolutely loved it. I only started venturing into the world of MM romance earlier this year, and when the audiobook was announced, featuring the incomparable Joe Arden and Jacob Morgan, I dove right in. For me, audiobooks are like listening to a movie and this five-star narration made me fall in love with Devlin and Micah’s story all over again.

This book is for every reader who loves their spice extra spicy (from the very beginning!) and their characters full of so much depth and emotion, that they linger in your mind long after you finish reading or listening. This story made me laugh, swoon and tackled some difficult yet realistic moments, that touch the lives of so many in the LGBTQIA+ community. I praise Serena Akeroyd for spotlighting the endurance these men showed when it came to following their hearts.

The Intern is full of tender moments between two complicated and intriguing men, navigating through life and unexpectedly finding love where they least expect it. This book so beautifully written, as I find all Serena Akeroyd’s books to be, even in the most explicit scenes, leaving the reader feeling a wave of emotion and exhilaration.

Though I read this book before, listening to it gave me a unique experience. Hearing the accents and tones and emotions within the narrator’s performance, added this book to my “relisten!!” list and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who is looking for a satisfying, provocative read. Five stars without a doubt!
