I feel like this book has really helped me change my mindset when it comes to weight loss. There are many thought provoking exercises that take time to complete but really forced me to dig deep about why previous attempts at weight loss have failed and how I can build a plan to finally reach my goals.

I really enjoyed this book. A lot of the life struggles Sheri talks about in this book are things almost everyone will be able to relate to at some point in their lives. As a woman in my late 30s it really opened my eyes that if I don’t find away to address my struggles now they will be the same struggles I’ll be facing at 50, wishing I had put in the work to fulfill my dreams earlier. Sheri’s storytelling style is another plus, it’s like listening to a good friend share her stories. The chapter about her mother’s death and how she wished she hadn’t spent so much time focused on things that didn’t matter particularly touching to me as it was very thoughtful and beautifully written.
I don’t usually re-read (or re-listen) to books but I know I will return to this one again in the future!

One of the best self development books

If you’ve been struggling to reach a goal I believe the advice given in this book can guide you over the finish line! The author gives you step by step by directions to create your own action plan with numerous thought provoking exercises. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from this book!
