Very Little Story
Revisado: 11-01-24
There was very little story involved. The story that was there seemed to be filler around the sex scenes, of which there were a lot. Most longer MM romance books have a lot less sex and a lot more story. This was pretty much just porn with bits of story thrown in. The voice acting was good though.

Enjoyable Story Regardless of the Hardcore Porn
Revisado: 04-25-24
I enjoyed the fantasy elements and most of the storyline, but like most MM romance books it wrapped itself around too much hard-core XXX porn. I’m not sure why the MM romance novelists can’t write a story with the equivalent of an R rating and insist on XXX. At least 10% of this book was nothing but XXX.

Slow and Weird
Revisado: 07-26-23
Like the other two books in the series, the narrator appeared to be heavily medicated, talking extremely slowly, compared to any other narrators. Listening to it on normal speed was like wading through molasses. Had to listen at 1.6 times speed just to make it bearable. Minor Spoiler: The story itself was the worst of the three because it came out of left field. Having the entire story take place on an alternate earth different from the ones in the previous two books and was weird. I love alternate reality books, but for the Logan series this made no sense. There was no indication in the first two books that there were other realities, or anything going on other than what it appeared to be.

Historia
The last battle burned the planet to a charred husk, and civilization is nothing more than a few scattered tribes...like the surviving corps of elite killers who served the old dictatorship....or the sadistic bands of motorcycle hoods, prowling the ruins for victims...or the slavers, mutants and madmen preying on those who hope to rebuild the future. Only a brave handful like Logan and his family, who are the hunted in a world of vicious predators, hope to save the strange and bloody land that is Logan's World.

Narration at a Snail’s Pace
Revisado: 07-22-23
After the first book, the only reason I listened to this book, and going to listen to the next book is just to complete the story. I purchased the trilogy on sale, but wish I had listened to a sample first The narrator speaks at such a slow pace that it’s painful to listen. I normally listen to books at normal speed, but I had to listen to this one at 1.5 times speed just to make it bearable. The previous book 1.4 speed was bearable. I’m wondering if the third book will even be slower

For the Love of God, Talk Faster
Revisado: 07-21-23
I’ve read the book in physical form and really enjoyed it and got the audible version while it was on sale. I don’t think I will ever seek out any books by this narrator. I normally listen to books on regular speed. I had to listen to this book on 1.4 times speed, just to not go insane. I swear to God, he was talking slow on purpose just to irritate the listener

Historia
In Boyfriend Material, Luc and Oliver met, pretended to fall in love, fell in love for real, dealt with heartbreak and disappointment and family and friends...and somehow figured out a way to make it work. Now it seems like everyone around them is getting married, and Luc's feeling the social pressure to propose. But it'll take more than four weddings, a funeral, and a bowl full of special curry to get these two from "I don't know what I'm doing" to "I do". Good thing Oliver is such perfect Husband Material.

This Book Destroyed the First Book for Me
Revisado: 10-08-22
I eagerly awaited this book after I finished the first one. The first one was an absolute delight. I was thoroughly enjoying this book as well until the end. The ending of this book completely destroyed my enjoyment of the entire series. Not going to say why, because that falls into spoiler territory, but it makes me wish I had never read either book.

Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

A Lot of Repeated Dialogue
Revisado: 12-11-12
Any additional comments?
After many of the chapter breaks, it repeats the last several seconds of the previous chapters. The 4th section is by far the worst. It repeats several entire chapters from section 3.
