Anxiety is not impossible to fix, and even though you may think that you will have anxiety forever, you won’t. Anxiety is all about how you live, whom you surround yourself with, how you think, and what you do. Not only does this book explain and answer your questions, but it also helps you understand how to turn your life. If one does not act on these symptom of anxiety, over time, it will develop into fears. It all starts from the mind of having awareness about it. It's very vital to winning the battle against anxiety.

couldn't get through it

This book is extremely clinical and feels like a machine translation without an editor checking to make sure it makes sense. The narrator is extremely monotonous and dull leading to what can best be described as the worst college lecture you've ever sat through. It would've been more interesting to listen to SIRI read it. I made it an hour in and they were still tediously going through definition after definition of different mental disorders (most of which had nothing to do with the supposed topic of the book). I'm not sure who could find this helpful in overcoming social anxiety, but it sure isn't me.
