Historia
Eva Kavinsky wakes in a dark cellar, with no memory of how she got here. Imprisoned with her, seemingly at random, are four men. The only way out is the trapdoor in the ceiling – and it's locked. The single clue about what brings them all here is a cryptic message sprayed onto one wall. Connect the dots. Repent. A camera fixed high above reach is livestreaming this whole nightmare to the world. What confessions are they meant to make to their unseen audience?

Average
Revisado: 02-11-24
Nothing in this book is too exciting. If you know the SAW story then you will know this one. Even though there are several narrators, only two read most of the story, and a lot if parts that could have been read by a different narrator were not. Overall it's an average read at best if you have nothing better to read or to do.

One if the Better Zombie Books
Revisado: 01-24-24
All though there are very stupid choices that become annoying, it's overall one of the better zombie stories with a supernatural twist. Though, one of the stupidest things in this story is the concern for driving without a license. ITS THE END OF THE WORLD FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Who cares if you don't have a license to drive? Apparently, most of the odd ball characters do!

Historia
Worn out after decades of packing steel and raising hell, Viv, the orc barbarian, cashes out of the warrior’s life with one final score. A forgotten legend, a fabled artifact, and an unreasonable amount of hope lead her to the streets of Thune, where she plans to open the first coffee shop the city has ever seen. However, her dreams of a fresh start filling mugs instead of swinging swords are hardly a sure bet. Old frenemies and Thune’s shady underbelly may just upset her plans. To finally build something that will last, Viv will need some new partners, and a different kind of resolve.

Garbage
Revisado: 01-22-24
Was looking for an easy, fun fantasy story full of magical creatures. It was going pretty good until a lesbian succubus hooked up with the main character Viv.
How can a succubus even be a lesbian?
So much for an escape ftom reality.

Historia
After walking through the portal in the Tower of Swallows while narrowly escaping death, Ciri finds herself in a completely different world...an Elven world. She is trapped, with no way out. Time does not seem to exist, and there are no obvious borders or portals to cross back into her home world. But this is Ciri, the child of prophecy, and she will not be defeated. She knows she must escape to finally rejoin the Witcher, Geralt, and his companions - and also to try to conquer her worst nightmare.

Truly Pathetic Ending
Revisado: 10-30-23
If you started from book one, do yourself a favor and stop now! You will not get the ending you wanted nor one that you would like. It's as simple as that.
The story itself is 90% about the war and filler junk, told from about 20 different perspectives, no lie! it's very hard to keep anything straight because of the constant jumping around and different points in time, plus the way a lot of characters act, especially Ciri, and Geralt are not in character at all from previous books.
I'm of the opinion the author grew bored with writing and just wanted to get it over with, finishing with a rush job.
Overall, it's a convoluted, unsatisfying mess. The only bright spot was the 5 star performance by the narrator.

Historia
For over a century, humans, dwarves, gnomes, and elves have lived together in relative peace. But times have changed, the uneasy peace is over, and now the races are fighting once again. The only good elf, it seems, is a dead elf. Geralt of Rivia, the cunning assassin known as The Witcher, has been waiting for the birth of a prophesied child. This child has the power to change the world - for good, or for evil.

Historia
Charlie Reade looks like a regular high school kid, great at baseball and football, a decent student. But he carries a heavy load. His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard. Sometimes strange sounds emerge from that shed.

Fantastic

Fantastic! Wouldn't expect a story like this from Stephan King. It's truly magical.
Only problem I had with it was the way certain evil characters met their doom. To me, that was lacking.
Overall, an unexpected but fantastic story from a horror master.

Historia
The year is 1910. Nate Cooper is an old-school cowboy. He sees the change brought by the turn of the century and reckons none of it to be good. Even after spending nearly 30 years in a Montana prison for a wrongful murder conviction, Nate’s moral compass is true and unwavering: He does all the wrong things for all the right reasons. So when he returns to his northern Montana ranching town to find the Blackfoot Indians - the people he went to prison trying to defend - are still being cheated out of their territory by ranchers, Nate can’t rest on his laurels.

Could Have Been Great!
Revisado: 02-26-22
This story started out with the potential to be a great western novel, instead it kind of floundered out like a wet n wiggly fish.
You always expect something big to happen that never does, and at the end the characters that should dish out the justice don't. Add to that, there are still lose ends with the story.
I feel the author may have grown tired of writting it and rushed the ending.
The narrator however, was a fantastic choice and has a old west quality to his voice.
To summarize if you are looking for an epic western novel, this isn't it. However, if looking for an escape into the old west, and don't expect too much, this is for you.

Basically A TV Show Soundtrack!
Revisado: 01-14-22
Going in, I thought it would be a good listen, since I'm into tales of the supernatural.
However, it turned out to what would amount to someone recording a TV shows audio track, and I swear that I have seen some of the shows on TV that the audio is from.
It Had promise but was disappointed in the fact that it was basically a recorded TV show.
