An Unfinished Love Story

The author hit the right format to tell a very interesting story. As a visually, impaired reader, am lucky, I get the audiobook narrated by the author and historic audio from a history. I am fascinated with! Thank you, Doris, Kearns Goodwin!

The Rnning Grave

Robert Galbraith style is unique, makes me think of Charles Dickens in style. I enjoy the fact that each character mentioned has a story to tell, and the author takes time to tell the story. The soap opera type style that she uses, caught me up to the point where I can’t wait for the eighth book in the Cormoron Srike series. Good job, Robert Galbraith!

Prequel

Rachel Maddow is a great historian. I have read all her books, I am impressed with her research and I find these books uncomfortably enlightening. I hope that I can learn from this book that the worst parts of ourselves are far too prevalent in today’s society and I need to learn to share this message to protect us from our worst selves. Thank you Rachel as usual, you wrote a winner! I recommend this to all my friends like me, they need this lesson.

After finally listening to this title, it is scary to me how little things have changed. Our current circumstance though not including an assassination, is as bad as the LBJ presidency. God bless America, and save us from ourselves!

The Trump Tapes

After listening to this title, I am amazed that Mr. Woodward was able to actually get the book rage from such interviews. It seems to me, Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States was only interested in himself and that’s all he could talk about. It’s disturbing to listen to the content of these interviews because the interviewee is so shallow and actually was the sitting president for four years. May God have mercy on us and he never be allowed to return to the White House!!!

Knot of Shadows.

Although this book at a somber theme, Lois McMaster Bujold was as usual up to her wordsmith self on a stirring and thoroughly entertaining story. The one characteristic I find refreshing about her material, she stays within the universe of the world in which she works. I’m finally learning to understand the world of the five gods, it is complex and very interesting. Thank you for another good read.
