Mixed feelings

I honestly loved the last 1/3 of this book but it started extremely slow. there were several times I almost put this one down and didn't finish. I'm glad I did because the ending did make up for the first 2/3.

amazing book!

I recently went on a bachlorette where the whole bridal party couldn't stop talking about how good this book was! I actually temporarily paused the book I was reading to see what all the hype was. I was not let not let down!! the only thing i wish I had done differently was look into the series prior to realize this was actually the 2nd book. I'm currently reading and there he kept her. also another amazing read! I've already recommended this author to several people and cannot wait for the 3rd book to come out.

the story was good, the narrator was horrible. this is the second book I've listened to with this narrator and I'm struggling to finish even though I enjoy the book. the narration is very flat.

Do not hesitate and purchase!

I've recently discovered this author and this is no the 3rd consecutive book I have listened to while traveling for work. although I have been completely engaged in all 3 this was probably my favorite. the twists and turns will keep you on your feet throughout. this author has an amazing talent at immediately drawing you in and keeping your attention through the entire book. I am anxious to start my next book! I also love how he tied in Hester from the wild series. although it's a thriller there are some great comedy moments throughout that add a nice mix. the characters are very nicely developed and rounded.

for the narration: this is also the third book I have listened to by this narrator. he does a phenomenal job on each character!

I will continue to check out this author for additional reads and also explore the narrators other books as well. I highly recommend both! these two work incredibly well together.

Disappointed

I can't believe this was a mary kubica book, I've always loved this author but this book was horrible! the narration was not good, the characters were incredibly annoying, and the ending was horrible. the plot was fairly interesting for awhile which kept me going but I can't say I would recommend this boom.

suspenseful but..

I enjoyed the book, the narration was excellent, and the end does have a nice twist that leaves you pondering things, however I had a hard time getting over how progressively annoying the main character got. by the end I truly didn't like her.

Great listen but...

I've recently discovered Lisa Jackson and have beand have been thrilled with her work. This book was not an exception however I did feel like it fell a bit short to the 1st book in the series. It's another book I couldn't put down and was engrossed in from the beginning. However, within the last hour and a half it became a bit obvious who the predator was all from one paragraph. I also felt like the ending of the book fell a bit short to what I was expecting due to previous reads from this author. I would still certainly recommend this book and am excited to listen to the next in the series with my fingers crossed it has bit more suspenseful throughout

I have Always enjoyed this author but I must say she's really outdone herself on this one! I did NOT see the end coming at all. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good edge of your seat suspense!

As always Karin slaughter did not disappoint. False Witness was very well written and kept me interested through out the book. There are random thrillers thrown in that you won't see coming. I highly recommend this book and author!

Possibly good young adult read

The book was a bit all over with lingering questions and seemingly irrelevant information. I was intrigued enough to continue to listen to find out what happened, however was disappointed overall.
