Historia
Over the past two decades, Joseph F. Coughlin has been busting myths about aging with groundbreaking multidisciplinary research into what older people actually want - not what conventional wisdom suggests they need. In The Longevity Economy, Coughlin provides the framing and insight business leaders need to serve the growing older market: a vast, diverse group of consumers representing every possible level of health and wealth, worth about $8 trillion in the United States alone and climbing.

Lightweight Handling of Important Subject
Revisado: 11-17-23
I found the author’s arguments superficial and unconvincing. Anyone with an introductory level understanding of global demographics does not need to bother with this book.

Great Material, Rough Narration
Revisado: 12-27-22
The material was just the right balance of detail and brevity. I loved the authors practical yet optimistic demeanor. I’m glad I listened to this book. Only minor criticisms are very little is mentioned about self employment, or non traditional students. Narrator also left a lot to be desired. Overall: Definitely worth the listen.

Historia
From tales of chivalrous knights to the barbarity of trial by ordeal, no era has been a greater source of awe, horror, and wonder than the Middle Ages. In handsomely crafted prose and with the grace and authority of his extraordinary gift for narrative history, William Manchester leads us from a civilization tottering on the brink of collapse to the grandeur of its rebirth, the Renaissance.

Misleading, not good history
Revisado: 01-10-21
The author often cites quantities that are unverifiable, and has a very distinct Anti-Christian worldview. I do not recommend this book any reader, as I learned much more about how the author views the world than I did about the subject matter.

Historia
Moneyball reveals a quest for something as elusive as the Holy Grail, something that money apparently can't buy: the secret of success in baseball. The logical places to look would be the giant offices of major league teams and the dugouts. But the real jackpot is a cache of numbers collected over the years by a strange brotherhood of amateur baseball enthusiasts: software engineers, statisticians, Wall Street analysts, lawyers, and physics professors.

Michael Lewis does an incredible job of illustrating the cross sections of innovation, sports and business. This is an inspiring real world drama of someone bucking an entire system. Highly recommend for all business or sports students!
