Historia
Grace has never been good at anything except magic—not that anyone believes her. While other children are adopted from the orphanage, nobody wants Grace. So she decides to make a home for herself by running away and offering herself as an apprentice to the witch in the nearby woods. After all, who better to teach Grace to use her magic? Surely the witch can’t be that bad.

Best way to escape is a YA comfort read including magic and adventure.
Revisado: 05-14-24
Love YA books that are comfort reads, while also keeping you on the edge of your seat because you get so invested into the world of magic and fairies as they describe it. I will say the ending was a bit unexpected and I felt like a lot of details in the ending were pretty blurred for a standalone. I’m still curious about certain aspects that were resolved vaguely, although it still summed things up enough to receive 5 stars.

The leading lady was very unique

So funny, the romance is so good. Just expect to be very invested, very quickly in this story.

The chemistry and Action 5 out of 5

Loved it from beginning to end. The backstory of each character is wonderful. The depth of the leading male character was amazing.

Historia
People aren’t as they seem. And history…I’m still attempting to reconcile the truth with what I was previously told. My new allies have an agenda, but I have one of my own. Though there’s overlap—we all agree Dante must die—what I desire more than anything is to return to Lore before he levels the kingdom to find me…or loses his humanity trying. I may favor crowns over coffins, but I refuse to live in a world where my mate only exists as a bird.

This book had me so enthralled
Revisado: 10-28-23
The author does an incredible job of making you connect with each character. You’ll laugh when they do, get angry on their behalf, and cry for them when they experience moments of heartache. Kingdom of Crows has become one of my all time favorite fantasy/romance series. I can’t wait for book four. Also, the narrators are sooo good. I actually took the time to look them up to see more of their work for me to try next, which I don’t typically do.
