once again Mr King shares lies of different people with us that live in his head and once again it is fascinating. My favorite audio male reader, who is also an awesome movie personality Mr Will Patton does such a great job as always with every story he reads.
to become reacquainted with Holly Givney was a really special treat and in getting to know her better I want to know more about her.
I love the story about the cell phone, and what was so interesting about it was I could see myself interacting in the same way at different points in my life probably. You can't go wrong with these stories so really sit back and relax and enjoy yourself...

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

Revisado: 08-08-24
I read the book when it first came out and really, how could you not enjoy it. ? However, when I saw that my very favorite male reader of one of my top three authors, IE: James Lee Burke, was reading my favorite suspence author Stephen King, was telling the story I had to use one of my credits for it!!
whoa!! I can only say it went up to the highest octave but I could imagine I made the very best of the story reading. I cannot say enough about Will Patton as an audible book storyteller !! (I also couldn't believe that he was starring in a major serious at the same time that I was watching. I knew Stephen King as a neighbor as a customer at a restaurant I worked at, and as a champion of propping up the city I lived in, using his money to make the whole place including a baseball field better for the youth who live there!
he is such an amazing person and his books are so dimensional it's hard to sort through everything. Mr Patton brought to life the characters in this book and I truly hope he reads more. do yourself a huge favor even if you've read it before to listen to this audible story here.! I really really hope that more books are read by Mr Patton and I will read them all, especially by Mr King and Mr Burke.
take some deep breaths and start listening.

Historia
When DI Barton is asked to investigate a seemingly innocuous fire that kills, he believes it's either children fooling around or a worrying racially motivated crime. As he delves deeper into the case, he soon realises that there is a history of similar blazes spread out over many years, all within a close area. An idea suggested by pathologist Mortis makes Barton suspect he has the arsonist’s motives wrong.

The Fire Killer
Revisado: 12-08-22
well, I'm hooked with a line and sinker! I feel like I live next door to DC Barton and ride around in his world every day. I'm going from one story to the next and don't want them to end. While his days are often filled with tense senerios and screwed up people, the writer allows me to look into the lives and hearts of those folks and always find some goodness and allow me to enjoy quite a bit of humor along the way. The narrator is spot on with his cadence and delivery, and makes each character distinct from another. Each story is totally satisfactory to me. My Thanks to both ! Now , on to The Santa Killer!

Historia
A seemingly straightforward private case turns out to be much more complicated - and sinister - than Special Agent A. X. L. Pendergast ever could have anticipated. Pendergast, together with his ward, Constance Greene, travels to the quaint seaside village of Exmouth, Massachusetts, to investigate the theft of a priceless wine collection. But inside the wine cellar, they find something considerably more disturbing: a bricked-up niche that once held a crumbling skeleton.

Every Cloak Rolled in Blood
Revisado: 05-30-22
Every time I finish one of Mr. Burke's novels, I am left in awe of the journey he has just taken me on and the characters he has shared with me. This is a beautiful story . As usual filled with raw depictions of both the beauty and ugliness that are within the human heart. His descriptions and philosophical insight of people, history, and nature are beyond measure and leave me with much to ruminate upon. Many thanks to Mr. Burke, and to the exquisite reading by Mr. Patton. My only complaint..the story ended all too soon.

started out a little slow and strange for me at first. I remembered all the great reviews and so stuck with it and before I knew it I was totally sucked in. This book was quite different than I had expected but I highly recommend it. At 1st I wasn't sure that I liked the narrator but then I realized he was perfect for the character In his nuance and tone. I was sad the book was ending, And I am now about to start my 2nd book by the same author, A wonderful read for sure For anyone who is interested interested in being totally wrapped up wrapped up in another world. Enjoy !

Wow! One of my favorite.
This reminds me of another of my favorite authors, James Lee Burke., where from the corner of our eye, if we are open, we can see others ,next to us, in the mist. I'd love to see Bart and Angel continue in their travels. Thanks for the adventures you take us on Mr. Koontz. I'm looking forward to more to come.
