For more than 30 years, Richard P. Feynman's three-volume Lectures on Physics has been known worldwide as the classic resource for students and professionals alike. Ranging from the most basic principles of Newtonian physics through such formidable theories as Einstein's general relativity, superconductivity, and quantum mechanics, Feynman's lectures stand as a monument of clear exposition and deep insight.

Without seeing his demonstrations, it’s somewhat unhelpful
Revisado: 05-12-22
I understood some of the physics here, bit be warned that there are a lot of demonstrations on the chalkboard and a few others in the classroom that you won’t be able to see. I didn’t get a PDF or other file to correspond to this audiobook either so I was confused during some parts. I am just going to read the lectures with visuals that this audiobook refers to. Feynman also had a little trouble with the math there towards the end of the last chapter that left me further confused, not to fault the guy as he is a physics expert without the math expertise and he won a Nobel. He even admitted his mathematical errors so it’s okay. Still, it was a pretty good listening experience overall.

Great vocal performance and sounds
Revisado: 05-05-22
I love relaxing to the episodes of this podcast again and again, kind of one of my go-tos for deep relaxations. The sounds are rich and the narrator talks just enough to set the tone before letting you take in the entire scene on your own for the rest of the time.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

I grew SO ATTACHED to Rocky!
Revisado: 04-30-22
Not spoiling anything about him, but he was the one character that made the entire book worth it! I found myself wishing he was here as MY friend, hahaha.
I really liked Stratt too, despite her domineering attitude, since she was inspiring in all of her steadfast decisiveness and her attention to detail, pragmatism, and organization.
The story is highly compelling as I found myself listening to the later 23 chapters in one day, and I almost never do that, especially with fiction. Ryland Grace’s problem-solving and science-based inner monologues did hold my attention most of the time and some other times, I felt they were kind of a hindrance to the momentum of the story and even a little unnecessary in some cases. I felt the constant reliance on human error to drive the story forward was slightly tiring but not overly so.
Overall, this book did hold my attention from beginning to end and was quite easy to follow with compelling and engrossing storytelling, so I really enjoyed it. Rocky is the one that had me going from 4 stars to 5 though!

Wow, One of the Best Fiction Audibles for Me!
Revisado: 04-27-22
So, I'm usually a non-fiction person when it comes to my reading and listening material, but this was very well done and engaging!
Pros:
The premise of vampires and the tangents of human relations are extremely well-woven together as opposed to being separate stories that are irrelevant and meaningless to each other, which I find a "mistake" some creators make in any kind of story-telling.
While there is some good action and suspense, the characters (humans AND vampires) are ALSO well-developed and distinctive and you want to protect some of them if you could.
I love the plotlines in general and the way Darcy describes her experiences.
I want to say much more, but I really don't want to spoil.
Cons:
The two female leads (Darcy and Hope) often speak so softly and mumbly that I couldn't understand them. I understand lowering the voice and lack of annunciation of words for conveying certain feelings, but I really found that kind of pulled me out as I was trying to decipher what they were saying. I had headphones on too.
I really liked it... but I didn't love it...yet. I think there is potential to make it better as we get deeper into the vampire world and characters with the way it ended!

Historia
Tamsyn Muir’s Gideon the Ninth unveils a solar system of swordplay, cut-throat politics, and lesbian necromancers. Her characters leap out of the audio, as skillfully animated as arcane revenants. The result is a heart-pounding epic science fantasy. Brought up by unfriendly, ossifying nuns, ancient retainers, and countless skeletons, Gideon is ready to abandon a life of servitude and an afterlife as a reanimated corpse.

I Stuck It Out for Five Semi-Painful Hours...
Revisado: 04-26-22
...And Then I Called It Quits.
I hate not finishing things I started, but I had to make an exception here because my time, attention, and energy are resources to be invested, NOT wasted.
Gideon the Ninth took my last bit of “endurance” for it. I felt drained because of the lack of captivating characters, including HER - the main! I also didn't care for the so-called funny banter (I like humor but this fell flat most of the time), how the sword fighting was portrayed, the ho-hum adventures, the slow pacing, the plotlines, or the boring drawn-out descriptions of the settings either. This was the FIRST book that was hard for me to follow much of anything!!!
Moira is a good narrator, so I give her four stars for that. One star is missing just because I have heard of markedly better and distinctive vocal impersonations in some other audibles.
I don't ever want to give a one star unless a book is just particularly heinous, which this isn’t. Two stars it is. Fantasy and sci-fi are way up my alley too, but this book is nothing I would ever try to re-start or continue again.

Human Drama With Sci-Fi Backdrop
Revisado: 04-26-22
The sci-fi here seems kind of like an afterthought, and here is what I mean: Nearly all of the dialogue (which is everything spoken in this audiobook since there is no narration) is based on the characters’ bonding, backstories, goofing off (which is cool), dramas, and other tangents that are NOT sci-fi-related. It is essentially an earthly human drama that just happened to be set on Saturn’s moon with some exchanged with Earth. Answering Earth kids’ questions was a large portion of the sci-fi. The climax that was actually sci-fi-related was kind of subdued and anti-climatic. Even the “twist” in the end was a personal human drama thing and wasn’t a worthwhile pay-off for all the meanderings and a drawn-out mundane main repeated plotline throughout.
You can have a strong sci-fi foundation and still have human interactions that show character development and that connect very well to the readers. This story, however, put the spotlight on such interactions that were their own separate story and low light on the science-fantasy part. And the interactions should've been well-woven with the sci-fi part.
I also didn’t care for the old-fashioned outdated paternal figure-and-daughter relationship between colleagues introduced by the elder griping about his age. *rolls eyes* It is ageist at best, which is disappointing for the year 2037. I have friends much older whom I neither treat nor see as parental figures and who don’t see me as a daughter figure. We’re equals.
Now having said that, I did feel sad for one of the characters, which I would have done for any decent character in that situation anyway. Also, the voice acting for all the characters was excellent! Finally, the background atmospheric sounds and scores were fantastic.
Overall, this was much more human drama than I was looking for and more like sci-fi demoted to a backdrop, which was actually way less than I wanted. The attractive cover, title, and DESCRIPTION drew me in, and then I almost couldn’t wait for it to be over.

An Erotic Fiction podcast. The daring (and sexy) adventures of a femme fatale just making her way through a wild Galaxy. Inspired by the feel of ’80s and ’90s sci-fi adult films and comics, and all themes and clichés they entailed. If scantily clad slave girls and the lusty aliens that covet them aren’t your thing. Baby, don’t say we didn’t warn ya. The Galaxy is a wild place, the Human Federation does little to protect its people on the outer edges before treaty space, where Empires build their economies on slaves and war. That’s where Yuki makes her name as the deadliest Human ...

Love the vocal performances, supportive background, and it was engaging!
Revisado: 04-21-22
So as a lover of sci-fi who gets horny sometimes, this story thoroughly satisfied my need on multiple levels. You have an AMAZING vocal performance by the lead character. Her voice and everything is perfect. Also, very supportive and rich background atmospheric sounds that change to match the scene and mood.
And there is enough engaging story to keep it more multi-dimensional even though it mostly sex-based. I love it! Please keep coming up with more episodes! I wish you much success. I would choose this over Pornhub any day!
