Of course I enjoyed the narration and the story line was amazing. I got the dad who is trying to love everyone, the mom who only loves one and sister who wants everything “that’s not hers” and the sister who lets everyone have their way.
Add in the possessive Hero with his crazy and funny family…you get drama, funny moments and a whole lot of wanting to smack someone.

This book was amazing. I can hardly wait for the second. Jude is a complicated girl with ambitions. I really enjoyed her character.
Cardan is cruel but so much more. I am looking forward to see how Jude and Cardan interactions will play out in the next book.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes and several. I experienced so many emotions and could not believe I laughed at the crazy.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that I was exposed to the different points of view from each character. There was a lot of dark in the beginning but as the story went along, I began to not hate some characters and not trust the others.
Have you listened to any of Romy Nordlinger’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first book by Romy Nordlinger. I must say, I was very impressed. I could not stop listening even though there was some dark behaviors going on. I thought I was going to need counseling for myself with all the crazy behaviors in the book but I really enjoyed the story line.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. As soon as I was finished with this book, I immediately bought the second and third.
Any additional comments?
This book is a great listen. Once you get past the first book, you begin to cheer for the one person you disliked the most.

This is a series I would refer to my close friends. I enjoyed the first book and enjoyed the second even more.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Everyone even the villains are my favorite. They all bring substance to the story.
What does Neva Navarre bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She brings a vivid vision of what is going in the book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Tess thought she was with the doctor and realized she was with her baby daddy, I lost it. That image was priceless.

I can not wait for the third installment.
