Just Too Long!!

It's a really interesting story, and the performance is fantastic, but seriously... wayyyy too long. I gave up and read the cliff notes on line.

So Completely Boring

I wanted to like this book. The narrator is terrific, the storyline is appealing and was interested in the characters. But wow, is it boring. Only buy this book of you need something to play in the background as your mind wanders to other, more interesting things (like is it garbage day, what's the temperature outside, do birds like it when it's warm...)

Thoroughly Enjoable

This book is thoroughly enjoyable! I highly recommend it if you like cozy mysteries. I especially enjoy that the protagonist is besties with Julia Child.

The Protagonist Is An Idiot

So, I thought this woman was just annoying, until she remembered (only because one of the dogs was panting laboriously) that she hasn't given the dogs (two large labs) any water for days. What????

the Protagonist is an idiot and not in a charming way. don't waste your time out you money on this book.

Don't Waste a Credit

Th 1st book was OK, so I was thinking the 2nd would get better. My thinking was flawed. The story line is not well developed; feels like it was written on the fly. The worst part though is the depiction of the detectives! Horrible. Truly horrible.
Please, don't waste your credit.

Cute!

I started this series because of Nathaniel Parker. I listened to the Bunbury series and thoroughly enjoyed his narration. Mr Parker does not disappoint, with the Mydworth Mysteries. The story is completely entertaining and well written, Definitely start (and continue) this series.

A note though.... at the end of the 1st book, the author leads into the next mystery with the vicar. But the 2nd book not only is not the mystery involving the vicar, but indeed mentions the case they solved for the vicar. <shrug> I am a little confused. I can only assume what was once supposed to be the second book got scrapped.

Triple Love This Whole Series!!

There was one major slip up(druid recognition between episodes 7 and 8), but even that doesn't distract from this absolutely delightful series. This is everything a cozy mystery series is supposed to be!

I Love This Series

I love these books. They are just fun. I think it takes a real talent to write light-hearted books that aren't brain numbing. This author does that. The characters are reasonably developed, and the narration is TERRIFIC (even with a couple of mispronounced words).

if you want a fun read, then here you go! The whole series is nothing but silly fun. I love it! That narrator really makes this series a success!!!
