Historia
Sure enough, the competitors are intimidating, and the monsters terrifying - though neither more so than blossoming friendships with two determined swordswomen. Spurred by pure-hearted altruism alone, Pavel joins their quest to find the Storm’s Breath: an artifact that bestows magic powers - and real-world riches - upon the first player to find it. And with a ruthless mage on their heels, he’ll find plenty of opportunities for bravery.

I want to read the rest!
Revisado: 01-11-23
The characters have flaws that one hopes would resolve in future books. Similar to demon slayer characters, they're somewhat unlikeable at first, but you can see their growth. World building, conflict + resolution, action, and introspection are done well and honestly. Characters decision making can be frustrating, but one can't help but be invested. The romance wasn't a highlight for me but it added to the story more than it took away (maybe targeted for high schoolers). It has the depth one would expect from a book of this length. I'm looking forward to the next 2 books.

Dr. Robert Glover has dubbed the "Nice Guy Syndrome" trying too hard to please others while neglecting one's own needs, thus causing unhappiness and resentfulness. It's no wonder that unfulfilled Nice Guys lash out in frustration at their loved ones, claims Dr. Glover.

Life changing for anybody
Revisado: 04-04-21
This book peels off many of the false paradigms we hear in today's society and gives actionable advise in creating change in your life. My number 1 recommendation to anybody trying to get what the cover suggests. I've read (too) many books on dating and life. This one is most the essential from my perspective. I've reread it 3 times, got the physical copy too, and feel much healthier having gone through the exercises.

Lessons from 15 sexual encounters for a sailor who learned pickup in order to date, and ended up finding so much more. This is a self-help book like you've never experienced. Rian doesn't hold back and talks about subjects you'd never see discussed in polite society, yet they are things that everyone deals with in their own lives.

Great book for anybody red pill aware
Revisado: 03-14-21
There is one chapter recorded twice, might be one missing? Stone narrates well, but should have re-recorded a couple slip ups. Otherwise, the book is excellent! I found it very useful and entertaining. I love the organization of the book too. I will reread it when I can because I feel that this is as close to a complete structure for well-adjusted men to model. Can't really speak for how this would go for women reading this, but it seems structured well enough for anybody to enjoy and (attempt to) understand.

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Fantastic if you can get past the bad romance
Revisado: 05-17-18
The book is 9/10. A must read for gamers! The romantic part is vanilla, was a bit uncomfortable, and a little pathetic. Pathetic might be a strong word, but it had me shaking my head sometimes. The setting is intriguing. The main character was deep, though supporting characters could've used some more depth to connect with. I love the plot. It left you on the edge of your seat at times, there were fun references, nerdiness, satisfaction, and shock.

Good for square one
Revisado: 03-03-18
This book provides a good overall outline for complete newbies for starting a business. It creates a structure for something that requires doing many things at once. The book is not deep and is not a one stop shop, as the title might suggest, but points you in the right direction for further and deeper knowledge one may need.

Frustrating, and I mean that in the best way
Revisado: 03-02-18
This book allows you to think while it guides you to and tells you the answers. That's the beauty, as we learn best when we come to our own conclusions. I have a newfound confidence in my financial intelligence. Listen to this book if you don't want to be a slave to money.
This is my first audiobook, so perhaps it just takes getting used to, but I wish the narrator would have more emphasis or inflection when he says a title, starts a chapter, or lists things (1, 2, 3..). I find myself hearing the message, but find the skeleton, outline, structure, etc. loose or weak because of the lack of inflection in the subject of the body. I have to rewind because I missed what's supposed to hit home.
