I was looking for a book to pick up as I waited for my regular series to be published. I found this gem hidden and it’s a good thing that I did. The story was very captivating. The battle sequences were amazing. The entire series really flowed and I am not in any way shape or form disappointed with this purchase, I highly recommend you pick this up. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed. I know I wasn’t!

What an amazing finish to a great series. This series will not disappoint. Not all readers will agree, but if you have a military mindset and love a good brawl and reminisce of good ole “HOORAH” days…then these books are definitely for you. Thanks for the ride Mr. Chatfield. I feel like I’m leaving a good 10 month deployment and gained 2 brothers!! HOORAH!

What an amazing story. This book really captivated me and I enjoyed it very much. I liked how it is set in the Renegade Universe and gives you a glimpse at how JH continues his journey (somewhat.) you see what effect the war has left behind and how some have adapted post war. Very interesting twist and turns, some welcomingly expected while other just sucker punched me from left field. Narrator did an amazing job and kept the story flowing very well. If you pick this up…make sure you read Renegade Star first for better context. This series can very well stand on its own, but would be more fun if you read RS first. Great job on this one folks!!!

Different, but gripping

My expectations of this book was exactly what I did not expect. It was very well written very well researched and I actually felt like I was part of the “mission.”
The narrator did a superb job of “feeling the characters“ and living their lives. It was an unexpected pleasure to listen to this book and I highly recommend it. A hidden gem I’m glad I found while waiting for a different type of book in the genre. I really do appreciate the writer and the narrator for the hard work in the amazingness of this book!

This book has captivated me. It’s so so real that I believe the words that came out of the authors mind. I catch myself thinking at times “Hello viewer”. Just a wonderful mind blowing experience. You cannot imagine the joy I felt when I saw 8 more books in its wake. Awesome!
