Historia
I'm in love with three men. I'm just not sure if they're a dream come true or my worst nightmare. It began with hearing voices: another step on my steady descent into madness. It was inevitable, considering the whole town hated me and I was the loneliest person on the planet. I didn't really blame them. Everyone who got close to me ended up in the hospital. I'd be suspicious of me too. When the three distinct, alluring voices in my head started to appear before my eyes as three distinct, gorgeous men I really started to question everything I thought I knew.

What a unique story
Revisado: 04-04-24
I loved this book. The storyline is unique and engaging, although if you are in the least bit sexually conservative, you may want to avoid this book. It loosely fits into the reverse harem or “why choose” categories but wraps the extremely well timed juicy bits into a fascinating fantasy/light horror mystery that reminds me of something Charles DeLint might write. DeLint doesn’t do detailed sexual content though, so don’t go running out to find his books, if that’s what you are looking for.
This author may be the first romance author that I put on my Amazon watch list. I picked up this book because I honestly couldn’t find a fantasy or sci-fi book I wanted to read right now and so decided to check out the paranormals instead of rereading something. Now I am hooked. Keep writing Lady, and I will keep reading them.

He's headed to the top floor, on a mission to meet the goddess.

Fascinating
Revisado: 01-16-24
I tend to assiduously avoid the litrpg subgenre but the first time I read this series, I somehow missed the fact that this was one of those books. By the time I realized what I was reading, I was hooked. It is well written and contains interesting characters, an interesting plot and backstory and other elements I enjoy. I just read the series a second time and I hope there will be more in the series eventually.

Too
Revisado: 02-23-23
I really wanted to like this title. The narrator, as usual, was great. But the book… I found myself halfway through, cringing at another overlong description of torture, wondering which storyline is the main one and trying to remember which secondary character is who. While I admit to being distracted, I wasn’t that distracted. The dealbreaker was the torture scenes. There were too many and they were too graphic. I returned it.

A fun adventure story
Revisado: 12-09-22
This is a fun sci-fi coming of age adventure story. Ismael, the main protagonist, finds his life completely changed after his mother dies in a flitter crash. He signs on with a merchant shipper and the rest you’ll have to read for yourself. It’s a great story in the tradition of Heinlein’s YA stories from early in his career. Yea, some of it is silly, but it is a fun tale. All the book in this series are.

Historia
The wall just didn’t look right. Alex has been trying to cope. Life after his deployment had been rough. His ex-wife thought he needed to stop disappointing their daughter. She was right. He would try harder. With six hours before his little girl’s fourth birthday party, he saw the anomaly. One wall was too short. Plenty of time to tear out a panel and look behind it. He found a brick wall. His house wasn’t made of brick. Behind that was another just like the first. He still had time. When the second wall came down, Alex stood and stared at the shining doorway.

What a great sci-fi adventure
Revisado: 03-28-22
I really enjoyed this book. Sci-fi adventure is one of my very favorite kinds of books. There’s a whole new reimagining of our world in which tech is taboo and everyone hit the supersize button. Eventually you get to find out what led to this while watching the start of what will likely be a legend in their world. Great book.
One warning though, this is the only title in the series in the plus catalog right now. So. If you are out of credits and you really need to know what happens next, you will be out of luck.

Revisado: 06-16-21
The book you are fascinated with but keep have you restart it. I am intrigued by the story but, while there isn’t anything substantially wrong with the narrator, I don’t think she was really the best choice for this book. The ideas are fascinating and the adventure engaging but I have had to restart it something like 10 times. I am going to keep trying though because I want to know what happens. Xd

Had potential but…
Revisado: 05-05-21
While I realize this is a YA book, the indecisiveness of the main character and all the vacillation really got annoying. I had to finish it however, because I really wanted to know what happened. It was sort of a science fiction book, ruined by an annoying protagonist and a romance that took away from the storyline, rather than adding to it.
With that said, the storyline could be fun to read and it might be thrilling and fun for the age group it is aimed toward. While I like YA occasionally, I don’t fall within that group. I am giving it three stars. I assume the books get better, since there seems to be many books in the series and I did like the premise. It will probably be unappealing to readers outside the Age group.

Fantastic but too short.
Revisado: 11-17-20
This story is unique and fun and my biggest gripe is that it is far too short and there doesn’t seem to be more. Once I read it, I went looking for more. I am a series reader and binge them. Shorts like these aren’t my usual thing but this is irresistible, unique and fun.

Unexpected
Revisado: 11-17-20
I found this book to be really fun and unique. It is a hidden treasure. Yes. It is a bit silly. But I think it is meant to be that way. If you like Piers Anthony’s more tongue in cheek books, you will probably like this.
