Historia
The Second World Wars examines how combat unfolded in the air, at sea, and on land to show how distinct conflicts among disparate combatants coalesced into one interconnected global war. Drawing on 3,000 years of military history, Victor Davis Hanson argues that despite its novel industrial barbarity, neither the war's origins nor its geography were unusual. Nor was its ultimate outcome surprising. The Axis powers were well prepared to win limited border conflicts, but once they blundered into global war, they had no hope of victory.

Timothy Taylor called Richard Nixon a conservative! i spit my coffee accross the room.
Sure Nixon was a Republican but he, certainly, was not conservative!

Great detail
Revisado: 11-16-20
listening to this series of lecture I am ever interested in the professors point of view. He managed to avoid any invective for Jiang Kai Shek. He cannot avoid his approbation for communism. Providing the compliment, "wise" for Joseph Stalin is a great example. Not 'clever' not 'cagey' but WISE. It induced a physical reaction, resembling nausea.
I understand that, in order to be this skilled in the Chinese language and knowledgeable in Chinese history, it is valuable to be interested in Communism and Chinese Communism in particular. But this professor is to be listened to with a critical ear.
