Disappointing third volume

After the excellent previous two Audible dramas in this series, this was a disappointing effort. While the plot was adequate, the addition of poorly defined empathic abilities and even more poorly defined race/genetic memory were misplaced. The sound effects and overall voice acting were very good with the very conspicuous exception of the male protagonist, whose acting would have to improve to reach the level of “wooden”
