Historia
It's him, Diary. It's Tyson. I don't know what it is about him; well, I guess I do know. It's everything about him. Everything he does makes me smile. It's him - he makes me want to talk. Arrabella was used to being abused all her life at the hands of her own father. She never felt like she amounted to anything. But then there was Tyson. He had this effect on her, which was completely understandable with his beautiful light brown eyes and muscular physique.

Cute but repetitive
Revisado: 07-14-20
I received this book in exchange for a review. I honestly tried to like the story and for the most part I did. It was likable. But it was also very slow-paced. I struggled to finish it because halfway through I kind of lost interest. The narrator was also just okay. It was sort of like listening to your teenage relative read to you.

Couldn't even finish this...
Revisado: 05-31-18
The writing was atrocious. The narration was even worse. The narrators voice is monotone and tinny with very little inflection. If I could give this Zero stars I would!

Great story! Annoying narrator.
Revisado: 01-10-18
The story was fantastic in itself but the narrator was very distracting. Charachter impersonations were a real struggle for her and it showed. I particularly disliked that she added a pronounced lisp to more than one of them.

Good Book, Interesting performance concept
Revisado: 07-20-16
Great story! And, I really enjoyed the sound effects as well as the multiple people performing specific characters. I would definitely purchase an audiobook that is performed like this again. The only thing worth mentioning is that the narration of Cassandra is pretty flat and monotone throughout the whole book. I realize she's supposed to be methodical, logical, and intelligent but I felt that if I had been reading the book to myself I would have imagined her with a little more passion. Minor irritation but it doesn't distract from the audiobook too much! I may just be being picky :-)

Historia
When 17-year-old Katy Swartz moved to West Virginia right before her senior year, she'd pretty much resigned herself to thick accents, dodgy Internet access, and a whole lot of boring, but then she spotted her hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up...until he opened his mouth. Daemon Black is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. It's hate at first sight, but when a stranger attacks her and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens. The hot guy next door? Well, he's an alien.

The story itself is pretty good. However, the performance of Justine Eyre was lacking. She came across as whiney which is pretty disappointing.

Awful
Revisado: 10-11-13
What would have made Predatory better?
Better editing, maybe?
Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?
Yes, I usually like stories by these authors. But either writting novellas isn't their forte, or someone did some major hacking in the editing department.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Arika Rapson?
She would actually be a decent narrator if she didnt make the characters sound like they were constantly whining. She sounded like she might have had some sinus issues going on.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger that I wasted a credit. I couldn't even finish. The narrator was whiney and there was hardly a distinction between charachters which made it difficult to follow at times. Not to mention the accents were pretty laughable.

In an ancient cemetery, travel writer Jade MacGregor’s tour of a Scottish tomb is marred by a terrifying attack that leaves her surrounded by corpses drained of blood. A year later, back home on a shadowy French Quarter street, she glimpses the oddly compelling stranger she met that day. Coincidence - or is it something far more disturbing?

Humdrum
Revisado: 08-08-13
What disappointed you about When Darkness Falls?
The whole thing. I usually love Heather Graham's work but I couldn't even force myself to finish this one. I tried... I really did! But alas, I only completed about 2/3 of it. What a shame to waste all that time to not even finish the darn book.
What could Heather Graham have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I thought the charachters were poorly written. I could care less what happened to them. they were unlikable as well as a bit shallow and dull. The plot had no substance.
Would you be willing to try another one of Tanya Eby’s performances?
Maybe.

WOW.... Kresley Cole delivers an excellent story!
Revisado: 08-08-13
Any additional comments?
I enjoy the occasional YA novel, but usually prefer more adult material like Kresley's IAD series. This story, however, completely blew me away! I didn't want to stop listening & whenever I had to I would find excuses to plug my headphones back in. Kresley Cole did another outstanding job with plot & character development. She really draws you in and you find yourself even caring about what happens to the not so nice people. I can't wait for Endless Knight to come out... I hope they keep Emma Galvin as the performer!

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I have no idea... I didn't make it that far.
What didn’t you like about Michael Page’s performance?
He should work on his delivery. He reads very well and has a nice voice but he somehow manages to make the hero sound like a pompous a$$ and the heroine like a weak ninny. He completely fails to establish the hero's sense of humor or kindness. Don't even get me started on the heroin's voice!
Any additional comments?
I was a bit dissapointed. This might have been a good book had I been reading the paperback version.
