Love the voice for Aslan!

There is something about listening to Aslan Avci's thoughts through Tor Thom's deep, rumbling voice that just swept me deep into Lunamare. My heart broke for him while he suffered through his traumatic memories of his family and heard his conflicting feelings for his savior Nerida Taylor. Interwoven throughout is the sweet (but bratty at times) voice of Neri. This audiobook is extremely long (at over 18 hours), but I really didn't want this story to end. Hearing that cliffhanger through Aslan just made me more excited for the next book in the duet, Cor Amare.

Holy Danner is this audiobook good!

I need to say this, Holy Danner is this audiobook good! Well, Lionel Danner is far from the saint that he appears (if you have read 'Good Gone Bad' then you'll understand), but this book is just so delicious that I couldn't help myself. The rough and tumble 'rebel' Harleigh Rose's perfectly voiced words were filled with enough heartbreaking passion that I quickly lost myself in her and Danner's not so sweet, extremely dark love story. Another wonderful visit back to Entrance, BC!

Zeus Garro & Lou Lafayette = Passion & Heartbreak

My heart squeezed tight as I experienced Louise 'Loulou' Lafayette's forbidden love for her 'guardian monster' and MC President Zeus Garro through the beautiful voice of Desiree Ketchum. I thought I knew this story by heart, but there were times while listening to this audiobook that I became lost in Lou's angsty heartbreak and the fiery hot passion from Zeus Garro's deliciously smoldering presence and yummy words (through Ms. Darling's writing, of course). Beyond the heartbreak and passion (and I need to warn that I cried a lot during certain moments of this story), I realized that I didn't want this story to ever end. So good!

Savannah Peachwood's voice is perfect for Cressida

I first read 'Lessons in Corruption' a few years ago and I absolutely fell hard for Cressida and King's deliciously forbidden story then. Even after rereading this book a few dozen times, I was excited to finally listen to the audiobook and re-enter the rough and rugged 'Fallen MC' world. Savannah Peachwood's voice is a perfect fit for Cress. I could feel Cress' every guilt ridden, passionate emotions in a more tangible way. I already love this story, but I think I love the audiobook even more.

A strong woman falling for her two bodyguards? Yes

I have been waiting to start this story until this trilogy within a series was complete, but I just couldn't wait any longer. There was just so many elements to this story that intrigued me.  A strong woman falling for her two bodyguards? Yes, please!


Sullivan 'Sulli' Meadows, an Olympic swimmer, may be a strong, accomplished athlete, but inside she is just wants to find herself and embrace new experiences. Sadly, (or not) the Meadows family name means her next big adventure/road trip includes her long-time bodyguard Akara 'Kits' Kitsuwon and his partner Banks Moretti. The relationship between this trio was complicated before the trip, so you can only imagine what happens on a crisscross trip to Yellowstone. Delicious angst, that's what!


Sulli's vulnerability is a big part of this story for me. Sometimes I cringed at how open she was with Kits and Banks, but I definitely admired her courage to admit what and who she wants. Now out of the two men in Sulli's life I was drawn to both Kits and Banks. Sulli is one lucky girl!


I enjoyed listening to this story, but I have to say the voice actor that spoke for Banks Moretti is excellent! I think I fell in love with Banks just through this man's voice alone!

Quickly and happily fell back into Adrianna's world

I absolutely love the Off Balance series, so I was really excited to hear the audio book to the story that started it all, Balance. Even though I have read this book about million times (more or less) and know this book by heart, I quickly and happily fell back into Adrianna's world. The narrator, Sarah Puckett, does an excellent job of expressing Adrianna's uncertainty, angst, and pain as she struggles to enhance her gymnastics skills while also trying to prove her worth to Coach Kova, her teammates, and herself. Adrianna is a tough character to love sometimes, but her voice in this narration grabbed at my heart and squeezed tight. By the way, I also loved hearing Kova's Russian accent. 5 deliciously angsty stars.
