An Emotional Rollercoaster

I love to read enemies to lovers stories quite often. I didn't however expect the kind of emotional roller coaster I was getting onto when starting this book. outstanding narrator performance aside, this story really took me through so many different avenues of emotional turmoil, pain, despair, healing, growth, forgiveness, and more. I love a good redemption arc and this book has it in spades, and the complexity of the characters in tandem with their raw realness in the light of being a bully and a survivor of a bully was just astounding to me. I absolutely would recommend this book unless you don't like to cry because I cried a lot. definitely getting placed as one of my favorites and will be re-listening in the future.

Angst, Spice and Everything Nice

I was looking for something fun with magic and dragons and I got it! What I didn't expect was just how spicy this book was. Oh my gawd I needed some ice cold water and the fan on high for this one. So good! Totally recommend

Loved everything but Seraphs voice

In the book Seraphs voice is described as deep, grating, gravely, but in the audio he sounded like the goblin from Lord of the Rings. It made it difficult to really enjoy once Seraph began talking more. I do however love all the other characters voice portrayals and the performance was still amazing.

The vocal performances were so good!!! the story was crazy good and fun to read. I was hooked the whole way through! I can't believe that was 17hrs Long!!! Everything flowed perfectly, loved the world building, characters, everything. I need MORE!!!!!

I love a story where the bad boy isn't converted to the high life, but instead the good boy to bad. Wicked wishes, sweet longing, and delicious heat wrap these guys up into a unique adventure that leads them into happily ever after just right for them.

Thought I couldn't love this book more

Honestly my inner Irish accent sucks. Getting to listen to this book and hear the accents just made it that much hotter. Good gawd this book just drips sex. Can't wait to start book 2.

I was not expecting that twist. This was at times very very dark, but I couldn't find myself wanting to put it down or walk away. Listening to this story was like watching a series play out. Each character is diverse, the suspense at times had me holding my breath and needing to shake myself out. I absolutely loved this book and love how it didn't once get boring or felt like it was dragging considering it was a 17 HOUR listen. Every single detail and action had me hooked. Best listen I've had in a while. Just WOW.

This is hands down the rapiest book I've ever read. I'm still on the fence about it. The narrators performances were spectacular. I just had a hard time digesting how well the heroine was processing everything or how light and brushed off the subject was treated in this story and world. Maybe it was lacking grittier components and a more warped society to support that for me. Or that our heroine was not traumatized or abused enough to warrant that level of emotional coping to be finding love and just swiftly accepting of all those major boundary crossing mind curdling changes that involve minimal to no consent. It just didn't feel like a lot of the stories aspects were congruent with each other and probably would have benefited more from some fade to black scenes and explanations later. Personal feels on this though.
