Accent took some time but the historical fiction fantastic

The transitions between characters and accents were a challenge at first. Once adjusted it is a story that you can not put down. It challenged me to look up historical facts and stayed true to the history. Several pivots but outcomes were better than anticipated.

There's no piece of history more important to Texans than the Battle of the Alamo, when Davy Crockett and a band of rebels went down in a blaze of glory fighting for independence from Mexico, losing the battle but setting Texas up to win the war.

Awake up call to a more complete understanding of Texas

A written piece much needed for a more modern and inclusive understanding of history and our need to be respectful of all ethnic groups.
Audio is a great way to process this information where a slew of $100 words would have made it a challenge for reading.
