This is my favorite series in a long time. The anti heroes make my wicked heart sing. The performance was spot on; emotion and snark were so well portrayed.

I am loving this trilogy. I always love a good Greek mythology foundation (who doesn't?) The female lead is so relatable, in that she exudes confidence, but is also terribly insecure and even a bit self loathsome at times. One of the most important things to me in a series is character development, and Ms. Bouchet nailed it. The world building is excellent; you can almost picture the realm. I loved the magic system, as well. It is different and intriguing. The entire series is action packed, filled with political intrigue, and the all important romantic aspect. This series is great; I fully recommend it.

Exceeds expectations!

Every trilogy gets better. The Byzantine plots intertwine in a manner that blows my mind. I constantly reread with new details. There is romance, political intrigue, action, snark, and tragedy. Tropes that can easily be overdone and redundant are reinvented and done to perfection.
