Historia
Young and desperately in love, Merrin had the whole world ahead of her. But just as her new life was about to start, the ground beneath her feet was cruelly swept away. Devastated by the humiliation, she ran far away from the beloved fishing village she had always called home to lick her wounds and escape her gossiping friends and neighbors. Another story supporting week characters for values
Revisado: 03-14-23
One painful experience, and the main character turns into a basket case, typical of this young generation that can’t take any hardship without collapsing, and becoming self absorbed, not taking anyone else into consideration, but their own little world.
I’m surprise this author romanticizes this kind of behavior /weakness and that so many people gave it such great reviews

Boring, endless unnecessary details
Revisado: 03-02-23
How dare the author equate the American internment camps equal to the holocaust concentration camps!
While the interment camps may not have been pleasant, they had food, shelter, education for their children, and their families weren’t slaughtered! I can’t believe the ignorance of this author

Disappointing story
Revisado: 02-08-22
Why give attention to such a pathetic character. To ruin your whole life over one mistake even though you have a family and friends supporting you. Some people just choose to be a victim, author shouldn’t give so much support and empathy to that attitude, it encourages others

Normally this author writes good books. But this was pathetic. College girls that know more about Security than Marines and experts in the field. Making a mockery of marriage as an excuse for self interest

How could any adult give this book a good review!
A 14 year old with knowledge maturity wisdom and good sense, knows more than the adults in her life, who go to her for advice. Laughable!
And of course we have to add wokeness since that perfect girl is a lesbian and has had no turmoil and is confident in her sexuality at that age! It would be laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic

Pathetic!
Revisado: 06-09-21
I can’t believe this author doesn’t realize that by creating pathetic love stories where it’s acceptable to have children out of wedlock, and marry someone after knowing them only for a few weeks and making it sound like they’re soulmates isn’t a terrible influence on so many young girls in today’s society.
Hopefully the young women in the author’s life won’t read this kind of garbage.
It would have been so easy to write a romance novel with some degree of moral responsibility instead of perpetuating the dangerous fantasies that continue to perpetuate unwanted children
