rough start to a funny story.

Author struggles to find a begining to a lovely heist style story with humor and great twists. don't elt the bwgining scare youa way from a fantastic story. wish we had a better reader to listen to with mote than 4 voices for an entire book.

fantastic performance by a multi talented man

yahtzee writes an amazing tale about a world where magic has come to light. his many charecters set up from his previous novel begin to have room to shine and develop naturally over the course if the novel and I can't wait for the exciting story to continue. I have noticed yahtzee currently only has about 5 or 6 different voices between his novels which makes his characters run together a bit in my memory but for narrating his own stories and stepping into the world of writing he's doing great. can't wait to watch him grow more as a novelist and vocally.

Strong read and story but subject matter is...

I enjoyed the over all tone of the book. The beating of the political correctness drum comes off as....well ridiculous but I think it juxtaposed society's current stances on the matter. Nutters who say everything that isn't pc is wrong. The older generation who are willing to commit murder because it's how we've always murdered. And the titular main character who is the middle ground between the two. It has its moments where you will role your eyes and wish a chapter to be over but I'm hooked enough to want a sequel and I think that makes it a solid book.

again great but the ending

why is their 10 minuets of music at the end its nice but it feels like a chip for an audio book of an hour to have 15 minuets of music total with no talking. outside that great story. very true to the adventure path while still doing their own thing. love it keep it up!

great story but pricy and lots of filler

fun and enjoyable. voice actors were wonderful. the 10 mins of music at the end seemed out of place though and was kinda boring yo listen to. also could we not make it 15 dollars a book?

dave does a great job as always. i love the wonderful adventures of the count and his body guard and look forward to their continued partnership. i miss paul narrating though.
