wow. truly terrible. i loved the book and wanted to hear it in audible. bad decision. no emotion, no up and down. very dull voice. I couldn't even finish it

Great story. I am loving the spinoff series and excited for things to come. Unfortunately, the narrator was horrible. No difference between male & female OR between characters. No accent variation either for different cultures.

Awful Female Narrator

Story was great. Male narrator, great. Female narrator, AWFUL. She couldn't find a pause or a comma if her life depended on it. I thought the girl character was Irish? All we got was a terrible British accent. AND slow down. Wow. she talked way too fast. It kind of ruined the story for me

Hearts Seeking Comfort

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lauren and Josh. Both were seeking lifetime love and were betrayed.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene when Lauren final earned Josh's submission. The way he broke down and then the way she held him up. Breath taking. I could imagine myself there witnessing the scene as it took place.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

At the end, while Lauren and Josh were holding hands, yet telling Marcus he should go get his Thomas. Soul inspiring

I love Joey W Hill. To hear the stories, well, Maxine Mitchell is one of the best narrator's in the business. She truly differentiates voices extremely well between male and female throughout.

Would you consider the audio edition of Animal Magnetism to be better than the print version?

Both forms of this book are great. I have both. I read at home and listen to books at work and on the drive to and from work

Which scene was your favorite?

One of the very first scenes was one of my favorites. It was Lilah who ran into Brady's car and he thought she was trying to leave the scene with a load of animals she was transporting to her kennels, although there is a nice steamy scene later at the lake which was also excellent.

Any additional comments?

Jill Shalvis never disappoints. I truly enjoyed this book one of the series and I am already working on book two and book three.
