Very inspirational story of an atheist’s journey to Christ

I give this book a five star rating since it is one of the greatest NDE stories I’ve ever heard. I’m impressed on multiple levels, but particularly on Howard’s many confirmations of what he’d experienced during the NDE with events that happened in life after the NDE. Well worth the time to read!

Outstanding narration! Gospel of John KJV 1611

I absolutely love the narrator’s voice. He draws me into the story and I feel like I am there witnessing firsthand the events. The narration makes the 1611 King James Version easy and enjoyable to listen to. This classical text is a must have in my audiobook library. Definitely recommend!

Powerful testimonies of Jesus Christ

This book provides a terrific insight into the world of Islam, including its people, culture, familial bonds, etc. I appreciated the opportunity getting to know about the strong family bonds in Islamic cultures. I also deeply appreciated Nabeel's deep skepticism and rigorous analytical methods he used in investigating both Christianity and Islam. This book was respectful, intellectually rigorous, and deeply insightful. Utterly amazing!

Incredible analysis of religions and philosophies!

There is so much to unpack in this 3.5 hour audiobook. The author provides an incredibly well-written analysis of man's quest for satisfaction, which all too often goes unfulfilled. The author successfully debunks atheism and post-modern moral relativism, and successfully demonstrates that true human fulfillment can only be achieved through communion with God and His divine energies. Outstanding!

Great content but poor delivery

The content is great and very useful. However, the pronunciation of the male German speaker on this recording is WAY too fast and often mumbled garbled. The voice of the female German speaker is fairly good. The English instructions on the recording are very clear and well enunciated. However, the German male is basically quietly mumbling the dialogues with poor and sloppy enunciation. As a university foreign language teacher I know well that foreign language input should be clear and clean with good pronunciation and enunciation. You can't just round up some random native speaker. You need to get a native speaker with clear pronunciation who doesn't just sloppily mumble passages.

It felt like a daunting compilation of footnotes

Great story, but read the entire Gospel of Thomas by itself at least once without the constant footnotes and comparisons to canonical texts. Everyone is desiring to hear Thomas, 'Thomas' gets drowned our by the constant comparisons with known texts. It's a bit daunting to listen to and loses the feel as a cohesive text.
