Listening to this book feels like sitting with a dear friend. She's informal, articulate, sometimes vulgar, and passionate in her delivery.
I would recommend this book to women who are struggling with a sense of belonging - belonging within our society, Western religion, and themselves. It gets spicy, too. So, women who want to heat things up in their relationship could get some ideas from "Sleeping Beauty Awakened." I would also recommend this book to men who want to better understand the women in their lives - especially those who have daughters.
As a 44-year-old father of 4 young boys, I don't fit neatly into the book’s target demographic and yet I found “Sleeping Beauty Awakened” is thorough, easy to digest, and relevant…
