Full of Ideas!
Revisado: 04-27-18
What did you love best about Start Something That Matters?
I'm starting a social enterprise and this book gave me tons of ideas about how to get started on a shoestring budget. He didn't talk much about the amount of funding he started with - and it didn't really matter - but I found ideas like using Craigslist to find interns who can help start the company very helpful! I implemented that right away and had a couple of people respond within a day.
What other book might you compare Start Something That Matters to and why?
This book isn't a comparison but is complimentary to those in the social enterprise space - The Art of Social Enterprise by Carl Frankel and Allen Bromberger.
Which scene was your favorite?
The ones in which they deliver shoes to communities. Not only does it impact the community, but the staff and others who are on the trip receive the beauty of the act of giving.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Just try not to cry!

Why do some products get more word of mouth than others? Why does some online content go viral? Word of mouth makes products, ideas, and behaviors catch on. It's more influential than advertising and far more effective. Can you create word of mouth for your product or idea? According to Berger, you can. Whether you operate a neighborhood restaurant, a corporation with hundreds of employees, or are running for a local office for the first time, the steps that can help your product or idea become viral are the same.

Well done
Revisado: 12-02-16
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect as some books deliver content that is not indicated by their title. This one delivered exactly what you would expect from a book called contagious. I appreciated that the discussion was realistic - not every principle works every time. I also liked the examples of things that worked and did not work. Can't wait to put these ideas into practice!

What made the experience of listening to The Little Book of Gold the most enjoyable?
I really enjoyed the pace and the content. Thank you!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Little Book of Gold?
Overall I think the book has content I can implement. The AH-HA was early - spend time asking in person!
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Neutral on this subject
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No - too much to absorb for me in one sitting.
Any additional comments?
I purchased this from Audible, so when I went to the downloads page, I don't know what the password is because I don't have a hard copy of the book to see the glossary.

What made the experience of listening to The 4 Disciplines of Execution the most enjoyable?
The content was great. I like that the basic information was presented in multiple ways so that ANYONE could understand the concepts based on their learning style. I have listened to this book 3 times and have every intention of listening a few more times to really grasp the concepts.

If you could sum up You are a Badass in three words, what would they be?
Entertaining, Empowering, Engaging
What did you like best about this story?
Sincero takes a humorous approach at a topic that's been discussed by hundreds (maybe thousands) of authors. The concepts are not new, but the way she talks about them IS new. I thoroughly enjoyed the way she delivered the messages and appreciated that the author narrated the book.
