Historia
The follow-up to the runaway bestsellers On Dublin Street and Down London Road. Despite her outgoing demeanor, Olivia is painfully insecure around the opposite sex - usually, she can't get up the nerve to approach guys she's interested in. But moving to Edinburgh has given her a new start, and, after she develops a crush on a sexy postgrad, she decides it's time to push past her fears and go after what she wants. Nate Sawyer is a gorgeous player who never commits, but to his close friends, he's as loyal as they come.

Ridiculously good! Epic (and I hate that word!)
Revisado: 02-03-14
I don't really even know where to start. I really didn't think it was possible for me to love a book more than "On Dublin Street" or "Down London Road." Samantha Young just keeps delivering. I did not read the hard copy book, but I can't imagine reading it. To me, the narration was just impeccable. I swear this particular character was in my brain. If I were brilliant enough to write, these words would have been mine. The main character, Olivia, is just so relatable; she's every woman. Nate is just smokin' hot (as are all of the characters in this series.) The words just sear into your brain. It was a MAJOR distraction for me. I wanted to listen to it in the car, at work, at home before I went to sleep, everywhere. If I did not have to go to work and function as a mother and wife I would have listened to this straight through. I laughed out loud, I cried, I was so affected by it and so sad that it ended. Thrilled, however, that I own it and can listen to it over and over again. Samantha Young's words penetrate. She captures every moment and is wonderful at creating tension between the characters...just amazing. The angst is measurable and the heart-felt intensity is just so real. I think that Olivia is even more so my favorite than Joss, and that's hard to beat. Potentially because she's not gone through quite as much as Joss and wasn't so very stubborn. Olivia wanted to fall in love and be "that girl" for a wonderful man that deserved her. The narration was just so wonderful. SOOOO wonderful. This book is really meant to be read out loud by an excellent narrator and Lee Angel is that person. I'm specifically going to try and find books narrated by her because of her talent in this one. Hats off to another amazing Samantha Young novel and to one of the best narrations ever.

Johanna Walker is used to taking charge. But she’s about to meet someone who will make her lose control....
It has always been up to Johanna to care for her family, particularly her younger brother, Cole. With an absent father and a useless mother, she’s been making decisions based on what’s best for Cole for as long as she can remember. She even determines what men to date by how much they can provide for her brother and her, not on whatever sparks may - or may not - fly. But with Cameron MacCabe, the attraction is undeniable....

Another amazing book by Samantha Young!
Revisado: 01-03-14
I'll admit that my expectations were lower after I read On Dublin Street...I didn't think it was possible for me to love this one as much as I did the other; but I was so very wrong! The story was heart-wrenching, but what really made this a jewel was the captivating and spot on narration by Elle Newlands. Good grief she is good. You can practically feel every single word that she uttered. The "love" scenes, the sad scenes, all of them were heart-felt and she just poured her emotions into this book. I love how descriptive the book is and how each word was so on the mark. I felt what she felt. It was just fantastic. This is a book just like On Dublin Street where I was really sad that it ended. I plan to listen to both again. Highly recommend and totally worth a credit.

Sixteen-year-old Zoey Redbird has just been Marked as a fledgling vampire and joins the House of Night, a school where she will train to become an adult vampire. That is, if she makes it through the Change - and not all of those who are Marked do. It sucks to begin a new life, especially away from her friends, and on top of that, Zoey is no ordinary fledgling. She has been chosen as special by the vampire Goddess Nyx.

Right up my alley...
Revisado: 08-23-13
This book is so me. I loved the mysticism about it, I loved all the characters and I loved the spells being cast, the power the main character felt...everything. It was dark, edgy and gothic. I've been told that I needed to read this series before and now I'm definitely hooked. I only gave 3 stars to the performance part because the narrator's voice, Edwina Wren, was odd. It would go from American accent, to English and then back again in a matter of a few words. So it was like she was struggling to maintain whatever accent she was choosing. Her voice was cool, but the back and forth accent was distracting.
I loved the description of the scenery, her moods, and I loved the other characters. There was great representation of all her friends in the books. Yes, some of it was just skimmed over, but I really felt as if I knew them. Like I could put myself in the main characters shoes and be there.
I highly recommend this book and more than likely the entire series. Just try to get past the weird narration...

Rarely do I find a book that was so hard to put down that I practically ignore my family! Every morning I got in the car to listen to it I was actually thrilled that I have a long commute. I'd pull up to work and hate to get out and stop the story. I'm not entirely sure why I was SO pulled in; but nonetheless I was. I loved all the characters, every single one of them. I loved the narrator's voice, I loved how she depicted Braden and Jocelyn. I just loved their labored romance and the intensity of their love. I'd probably have to say this is one of THE best audio books I've ever listened to. I'm now desperate to see if Samantha Young has any more books. I'd love to hear their story continued. The emotion in this book was perfect. The descriptions were spot on of how she felt...it was pretty much just INTENSE. That's the best word to describe it. I actually found myself laughing out loud, and even crying...not a great way to walk in to work!
I couldn't recommend this book any higher. If there were 10 stars it would get it. Great book, great narrator and the characters were done impeccably. Both content and delivery.
Loved it and now I'm so sad that it has ended. The good news is, since I've purchased it, I'll have it forever to read over and over!

Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stones throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

Entertaining, twist and turns
Revisado: 03-24-13
Would you consider the audio edition of The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf to be better than the print version?
I don't know about the print version, but I always think an audio version is exceptional. Especially when narrated by Amanda Ronconi. She has the best voice for the sassy, sarcastic characters that Molly Harper brings forth.
What did you like best about this story?
The hot guy of course!
What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The sass, the sarcasm, the entire life of the character is truly her voice.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not really. I did think I could listen to it in two sittings but it didn't grab me as something I was desperate to finish.

Revisado: 03-24-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I would recommend this book. It's very light-hearted and as always Molly Harper delivers on the one liners.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character was my favorite. She embraced her flaws and was seriously funny.
Which scene was your favorite?
The scene where they had to stay in the hotel together.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It did make me laugh, all Molly Harper books make me laugh
Any additional comments?
Could use a little more romance to spice things up a bit. There was some of course just not enough.

Great ending to a great series
Revisado: 02-19-13
If you could sum up Hidden in three words, what would they be?
Engaging, descriptive, heart-felt
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hidden?
I think the parts that were the most memorable were the relationships between the characters; and not just the main ones, Jacinda and Will. I loved the relationship between Tamra and Degan.
Which character – as performed by Therese Plummer – was your favorite?
I really loved Jacinda, Therese Plummer's voice is just amazing...did she narrate Twilight as well? I'll have to research that. Second to Jacinda was Cassian.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
All of it was moving; it's just written that way. All of the books in the series really pull at your heart and you can literally picture in your mind everything that is being described.
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend the series. I really enjoyed the writing and Therese Plummer was amazing as always. Her voice is just perfect for YA novels. When I first read Firelight, it reminded me in so many ways of Twilight - minus the vampires. So that was a big draw for me. The intensity of attraction between Jacinda and Will. Very much like Bella and Edward.
