Lots of surprises and not overdone
Revisado: 01-08-23
After reading some of the reviews I was not sure if I was going to enjoy this book, but I took the plunge anyways because I had multiple friends finish the series and say it was one of the best things they’ve ever read. While I do agree a little with some of the Beauty and the Beast comparisons, I think that this book offers so much more. There’s so many layers and depth to each character and there are so many surprises throughout that I would have never seen coming. I loved that (while you might be able to guess the ending) the story throughout was full of ups and downs and moments of mystery. Great read and I enjoyed this narrator as well.

Nothing here
Revisado: 05-14-21
Yet another audible original with an ending that seems forced and cobbled together. It felt like a very long prologue to a story but it was the "entire" story.

This Book is Terrible
Revisado: 08-26-19
My Wife and I have enjoyed several Murder mystery/romance novels. This wasn't one of them. Everything felt jumbled and unorganized; the ending seemed like it was pieced together and made almost zero logical sense. It was really hard to enjoy the book at all when everything jumped around and felt like the author couldn't get their thoughts down in a coherent manner. Just pick another mystery and steer clear of this one.

great story, enjoyed the performance. the end was good but there were parts that were a little ridiculous such as why you wouldn't shoot a killer BEFORE he reached you? other than that we enjoyed it.

listened to it in 2 days, sometimes there were a few to many dates and statistics but overall the book hooked me from the start. The story crossed paths with a few other stories I've read and filled in some background I hadn't known. would recommend.
