Good story, sweet characters. Even the bad guys aren't soo bad. I enjoyed the voice actors in that they portrayed the story well without having too much extraneous noise.

Constantly changing scenarios

Good story. Not amazing or fantastic, but a good listen. I'm not entirely sure which character was supposed to be whom. It wasn't really about American, but more about the old world Gods. Throw on a few bits of trivia about America and declare that you've written about American Gods. But, still, in the end it was a very good listen.

Loved the story from start to finish.

Oh so suspenseful, right from the start. I had no idea what the story was about. And as I listened, I became more and more involved. The characters were intriguing, the story was fast-paced, and the ending was a twister. Loved, loved the book from start to finish.

I watched the movie in my head

awesome fum listening to this story. I slowed it down to catch the words and that made a huge difference as I savored the scenes.

Very clever

loved this book from way back when. I'd forgotten how clever it was. Makes me nostalgic for the way phrases were used and how they can be presented as a different viewpoint.

loud commercials

if you are using this for sleep and you're a paying member and its included in your membership...why are there commercials at the beginning and especially at the end? After you've supposedly fallen asleep the volume turns up as wel as the speed and commercials bombard you. What a nightmare.

Central Valley front and center!

What a great listen! loved the story and how it unfolds. Twists and turns and things you didn't know and now make you think. Marc does an excellent job of researching a great heist and bringing it all together. I loved the lighthearted approach. It was very familiar in that I'd have had the same reactions to the revelations. Great soundtrack too.
