Historia
Five days ago, the epidemic of rage began. Four days ago, the rash of senseless murders swept the nation. Three days ago, the president addressed the country and begged for peace—even as the murders increased tenfold. Two days ago, the killers began to mobilize. One day ago, the power went out. And tonight, the killers are reading the names of those to be killed over the Emergency Broadcast System.

Very Good and Tense
Revisado: 01-29-25
I would give this 4.5 Stars ⭐️! It kept me hooked the whole time. I love survival / apocalyptic stuff. This one starts with a bang and goes all the way through to the end. I enjoyed the characters and their story. This was the 1st Blake Crouch book and I have heard good things and wanted to start with this one. I will be reading more of his stuff this year.

Historia
They call them wayward girls. Loose girls. Girls who grew up too fast. And they’re sent to Wellwood House in St. Augustine, Florida, where unwed mothers are hidden by their families to have their babies in secret, to give them up for adoption, and most important of all, to forget any of it ever happened. Everything the girls eat, every moment of their waking day, and everything they’re allowed to talk about is strictly controlled by adults who claim they know what’s best for them.

Groovy Witchcraft
Revisado: 01-24-25
I enjoyed the book very much. The characters and plot were all well written. It really made be feel bad for young women who had to suffer through that time in history. How mistreated they were. The overall plot was not what I was expecting but enjoyed it greatly. I could have used a little more witchcraft. Another very good Grady Hendrix book.

I think this is a solid 3.5 stars on the scale. A quick read about a murder. Though the plot was fine. I really didn’t enjoy the characters too much. I have really enjoyed Dervla McTiernan books and will always read her stuff.

Dark and Chilling Christmas Ghosts Stories
Revisado: 12-18-24
This collection of ghost stories set at Christmas is must read and spine-chilling. Each tale exudes a haunting atmosphere, especially for fans of classic horror. The dark moods throughout gives a sense of cold and despair, leaving you with an eerie feeling that lingers long after reading. The overall tone of the stories is perfectly suited for the coldest, darkest nights, making this a must-read for those who enjoy chilling, atmospheric tales.

Historia
Frank Szatowski is shocked when his daughter, Maggie, calls him for the first time in three years. He was convinced that their estrangement would become permanent. He’s even more surprised when she invites him to her upcoming wedding in New Hampshire. Frank is ecstatic, and determined to finally make things right. He arrives to find that the wedding is at a private estate—very secluded, very luxurious, very much out of his league. It seems that Maggie failed to mention that she’s marrying Aidan Gardner, the son of a famous tech billionaire.

Good Story
Revisado: 11-11-24
I enjoyed the overall storyline and plot. I feel like it has some good twist and was excited to hear how it would play out. The characters were kind of annoying at times so it was hard to like them at times. But overall a good solid book.
