Historia
The Cancer Whisperer chronicles Sophie's extraordinary relationship with cancer and the very effective methods she has used for dealing with her fear, anger, denial, and grief. The Brené Brown of cancer, Sophie empowers listeners to reject the traditional adversarial relationship with cancer by teaching us how to listen to it; how to be healed by it as well as how to seek to cure it; and how to be emotionally free even when we are physically curtailed.

Love, Sophie
Revisado: 03-25-19
This love letter disguised as a book is for all of us who find ourselves diagnosed with stage 4 or cancer at any stages of any kind. Don’t believe what anyone but yourself tells you - trust your intuition and Ms. Sabbage will give you her take on how to live without fearing the words you’ll hear and instead listen to yourself. No one knows more than you ...about you. Cancer is not a gift but this book is Sophie’s gift to us with a similar diagnosis and to anyone who loves someone with it. If you want a raw, honest, and thoughtful book to guide your thinking on this topic it I cannot say there is a better placebo than the Cancer Whisperer. And her reading is honest and raw and kind and emotional and angry and surprisingly filled with hope. Do not hesitate and use your credit or buy it. I guarantee you won’t regret it. 💜

Extraordinary Biography of Freddie Mercury
Revisado: 08-23-18
As a lifelong fan of Queen and Freddie Mercury in particular, my heart truly took an emotional ride guided by the narrator’s excellent interpretation of the text. The inter splicing of the rise and fall of AIDS and the medical history interwoven with Mercury’s personal history both enlightened me and increased my respect of Mercury through both his professional contribution to modern popular music and his posthumous contribution of money to the research of a cure for AIDS. No doubt if you’re not even a huge fan of Queen you will enjoy this book for its complete and complex look into the life of a true musical genius. When I was in Montreaux I saw the bronze statue of Freddie with his arm raised and index finger pointing upwards towards heaven - and that’s where he belongs if there is a heaven indeed.
Thank you to the authors for treating his life with respect and with brutal honesty. He would have loved the book, I’m certain!

Historia
Over the course of a 30-year career, Eddie Izzard has proven himself to be a creative chameleon, inhabiting the stage and film and television screens with an unbelievable fervor. Born in Yemen and raised in Ireland, Wales, and postwar England, he lost his mother at the age of six. In his teens he dropped out of university and took to the streets of London as part of a two-man escape act; when his partner went on vacation, Izzard kept busy by inventing a one-man act, and thus a career was ignited.

You didn't bother me in the least...

Eddie, you're wonderful. As my favorite comedian and always a delight for me to catch in one of your filmic performances, I expected the honesty, sincerity, humility, and the cornerstone humor that shone through in your reading of your audio biography. Thank you for reading your work - this book shall not hold the enjoyment in a readers hands and eyes more than through the ears. The pure stamina you pore into your work certainly resonates in this audio version of your book. I could not recommend an audio version of a written work by the author more than this.
I've seen every comedy special several times, and love all you've accomplished however, the last chapter held a special place in my heart as this explained my emotional embarrassment of friendships and I learned something about myself from you, yet again.
Thank you. You make my world a happier place just knowing you're out there. I walked 7 miles the other day after listening to your marathon man chapter - and I have not walked that far since being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. You touch people in ways you may never ever know, but I just thought you might want to know that if you ever read your reviews.
